    Clearly explained! I also wonder if there is a way to export just a part of the settings, for instance, settings of an EDC model, which is time-consuming each time a six-step model needs to be defined. Btw, who is the interpreter, and what is the name of the tune playing in the background? Sounds like a gipsy jazz standard. That is cool, too!

    To fix the error: click Solution -> Analysis Data Management -> change Delete Unneeded Files to No. /AUX2 ! Combine .FULL files COMBINE, FULL ! Enters the database processor /POST1 ! Stiffness *DMAT, MatKD, D, IMPORT, FULL, file.full, STIFF ! Mass *DMAT, MatMD, D, IMPORT, FULL, file.full, MASS ! Sparse matrices *SMAT, MatKS, D, IMPORT, FULL, file.full, STIFF *SMAT, MatMS, D, IMPORT, FULL, file.full, MASS !     hi, i have an enclosure with 1.5 mm thick perforated plate on both sides. does it exist that C2=298.17, 1/ALFA=174 664 133? Should I enter these in the porous jump window? thanks for the reply!

    @@senior260 no, i went for 2D axisym, for 3d thickness variation there is an option called cutoff section rule which is not so accurate procedure

    Hello Dominic, you can fork your SCHEME command or make it more complex. In your case: (if (AND (>= (string->number (pick "/solve/report-definitions/compute <YOUR RD1 NAME>")) 315) (<= (string->number (pick "/solve/report-definitions/compute <YOUR RD2 NAME>")) 300) ) (set! mstop #t) ) Do note that I evaluate report definitions instead of reports. I say: If output of report-definition 1 is greater than or equal to 315 AND output ofa report-definition 2 is lower than or equal to 300, stop the calculation.

    @@tomasprejda4165 Hi I am using the below command which is supposed to stop the transient simulation when air_temp_outlet becomes greater than or equal to 926.5 K. but duing the simulation, Ansys is giving an error message stating "invalid function". I inserted a "?" after mstop but I was still getting the same error. Any help would be highly appreciated. (if((>= (string->number (pick "/solve/report-definitions/compute air_temp_outlet")) 926.5)) (set! mstop #t))

    Thanks a lot. However, the pressure drop data is mostly available with respect to flow rate and not versus velocity in industry so curve fitting of DP versus flow rate to get the coefficients remain valid ? thanks
