  How do you reconcile MJ getting 56 extra points than Lebron for scoring titles when he only averaged 3 pts more a game and has 8000 LESS points scored than Lebron for his career? He’s 56 points better than Lebron because he scored more than other players in the 80s and 90s?

  The best betting strategy is to open a sportsbook. Anything else is stupid and you will lose. Don't believe anyone who thinks they have a system. If they did, they would use it to get rich, not sell it to YOU. And even if you DO figure out a way to beat the house, the house will simply refuse to do business with you and close your account.

  can you do it where the amount bet is decided by the odds (not a fixed percentage of your pool)? So more is bet if the pick has short odds and less if the pick has long odds.

  Absolutely, you are describing what is called the Kelly Criterion. We couldn't do it for this presentation because you need the "perceived edge" from the bettor. But, it will be in our next Bet Strategy video, no doubt about it!

  If you create a metric that is so heavily weighted in regard to SB wins, you are going to end up with Brady ranked first without needing to compute any other factors. It fails to take into account how much that player's play influenced those title wins or how they got to that game to begin with. Brady is the most decorated QB of all time, for sure, but a very strong argument can be made that the teams he was surrounded by, the weak division he played in, the cheating, the asterisks, the tuck rule, etc... are significant enough to give more weight to other factors when discussing the best of all time. There's also the issue of recency bias. Bart Starr had a 90% win rate in the playoffs and had 5 titles, but 3 were before the merger. Dan Marino put up stats that would have him in MVP discussion in any recent modern season but did so in the mid-80s. He was so good regardless of the teams around him that he is typically listed as a top-5 QB all time despite having ZERO rings. Rodgers is like a modern Marino in a way. Heres the litmus test I like to use: If you replaced brady with one of these quarterbacks during one of the Pats SB seasons, would their chances of still getting a title be different? AND, if you put brady on that QBs team, would he be able to elevate them? There are a handful of QBs that, when you apply that line of logic, completely blow brady out of the water.... like... its not even close. Rodgers, Marino, Aikman, etc... would all fill those shoes with ease. Meanwhile, Brady's lack of athleticism and mobility would be a massive liability on a weak team not custom built around him.

  UNITAS played the majority of his career before superbowls. he is the GOAT. every QB after him was trying to emulate him. great passer high completion to interception rate. held the record for TDs in consecutive games. total of 47 i think. only took 40 years to break it. he averaged 15 throws a game when it was broken 30 passes a game.

  So you rank an individual but the top two criteria are team based and MVP is also team based as it goes to the QB of the best team almost without thought. Superbowl MVP is bull crap also. Nick Bolton chiefs LB should have walked away with SB MVP last year
