On this channel I upload overflow city/town videos that will make it easier for me create videos on the 85% of U.S. Cities that could be seen as boring or un-interesting to most people.

You also can’t click on the links for the videos on mobile devices, but at least you can see where I’ve been and see what the video title is for each place... when it works. The map will always work for PC)

My comments about Chris’ ghetto destinations are brutally mean, but I don’t condemn him for taking footage of them. Crime is why these places suck, not some person on YT who reads the FBI statistics and showing dash cam footage of its urban decay.

OMG...what the..You have to shine a bright light in dark corners to try to make things better. I have never once heard Chris bash a group. Instead when there is criticism it is one at a time and documented. This is the go to channel to see the how and why of a place in great detail including beautiful places that function well. No one does this better.
He has brought up local politics and race riots. Sorry, that’s the history towards the decline. Sometimes, it’s just failed companies that were the city’s main source of income. However; politics, toxic culture, and crime also lead to urban decay. Denver doesn’t have any economic decline but the other stuff I mentioned is leading to its second decline.
This is why I am afraid of starting my own YT channel. Stay strong brother.

Wow. Don't mess with Texas. Or Danville. Frankly you've been to the areas I grew up around and you haven't scratched the surface of how bad it really was. So, no complaints here. My opinion anyway.
Gosh what people say, unbeleivable. You show all the facts in each video. The videos are not meant to bash a city. It's just the sign of the times.
You have to admire the guy who wrote "If you have nothing positive to say..." as he himself is negatively bashing you. "Do as I say, not as I do..." comes to mind.

I will say the newest video did seem to have a lot more goofy sound effects than before, but I always appreciate your attention to facts and stats and your great footage so I'm not bitching. Beautifully done with stellar music. I think about how much people sacrificed to get their families into a home with a nice green lawn and heavily wooded streets and nature preserves not too far away. A far cry from a concrete jungle of tenements. Then what is very well explained in the first video happens. I feel so fortunate that did not happen to me. We all need to be more awake to these issues and what better way than see and hear about it. Great job!

These small towns/cities landscape are very nice. It's too bad corruption has ruined so many places to live. Bring back manufacturing and jobs from overseas to the US again so people can live comfortably and not in abject poverty.
Parts of Markham are pretty nice, with healthy looking small businesses. There is a chance, but it means turning away from the Democrats and Fraudsters who have become entrenched over decades. Prison time for some of them, substantial time, would discourage others in that biz.

Sir I disagree with your title of this video. These homes are NOT by the waste site in Weldon Spring. Francis Howell High School is right next to the waste sight. I went to high school there prior to the superfund clean up.

Just finished watching this over the course of a few days (kids keep me busy!) and just wanted to say I loved it! Happy new subscriber. Keep up the good work!

I worked at DiCicco Concrete Products in Chicago Heights (East End Ave & Lincoln Hwy extending along the RR tracks all the way down to 16th street. Property was LONG (500yds from Lincoln Hwy to 16th St) but skinny (only about 50yds wide). DEPRESSED area. rodents everywhere from the fields just east. Everything always looked dirty and depressing (as it does in your video). Worked there from 2015 - 2018. Halsted Ave has some commerce but the brand new Walmart right at 294 and Halsted (in Homewood technically) recently closed. That was a big hit. Scary area at night time too. Always mice in my office...hated it! Always beggars, homeless folks, and scary looking individuals/groups of men pounding on our business door trying to get us to answer and size us up or beg for something. Living in Palatine the entire time I worked there, the commute was BRUTAL! I'd drive to Frankfurt if I needed something a Home Depot (closest nice town). I could see traces of a vibrant past in Chicago Hts but if any of the businesses were still around they were operating as if it was 1968 and dying with every day that passed by. Such a sick feeling down there. Hated it.
The Wal-Mart is on 30 in Olympia Fields across from where the jewel used to be (at western). It’s always busy. The Home Depot on Cicero south of 30 in Matteson is fine. That corner where DiCiccio was no man’s land back in the 80s. That stretch of 30 east of East End was always desolate. This video is also from the ugliest time of year in Chicago. Unless there’s snow, everything looks brown and dead.
