    What a great job you did with that $ 220 guitar and the guitar you used to copied the guitar I had never thought about ever playing or owning it but now I know different because of you breaking it down by you telling us about each part of the instrument thanks for that. I’m impressed with your results of the instrument you have rebuilt and how well it is performing. Keep up the good work and keep playing.

    Suggestions for the newbies doing their intonation: get your actions height where you want it before trying to perfect your intonation - changing the action can have a lot of impact. When pressing the string down to the 12th fret, take care to go straight down, and with no more pressure than needed to get a clean note. Pressing too hard, especially behind the fret rather than right on it, also impacts intonation. Great stuff as always Michael! 👍

    That thing is way closer to a ukulele than a guitar. Ive seen quite a few of these actually and they all sounded like shit besides this one to be honest. Im sure the 25 inch scale length is a massive part of that thing staying in tune.

    Electric fence will keep most critters out. We have several raccoons roaming around at night in our neighborhood. Hope you have chicken wire on the bottom as well. Some critters will dig underneath.

    Question! When you use floating bridge like you made here, does it move if your hand is anchored against it when you play for a while or is the pressure from the strings enough to keep it locked in place? Thanks!

  • @SouthernFireGuitars
    @SouthernFireGuitars14 күн бұрын

    Thanks, No it does not more. The string pressure holds it in place. M~

    I'll hafta learn that tune on my CBG! Dumb question...do the chickens go into thier roosts (or whatever they are called) by themselves? What is the process? Asking for a friend....definitely not a raccoon. Totally..🦝

    I'm surprised the birds woke up. At 0200 they're usually comatose. We've had our chickens assaulted by just about every critter out there, but the worst and most persistent are the 'coons. Three years ago I live trapped 21 over the summer by the henhouse and relocated them all to the state forest 5 miles away across the river. Are those all hens or was that first bird a rooster?
