Getting individual sections of Hogwarts to make the most detailed version of the castle in LEGO form yet sounds really exciting. When it comes to previous sets, we used to get random locations in Hogwarts sets such as the Owlery being placed on top of the Gryffindor dormitory in the Hogwarts Whomping Willow set from 2018, or the Astronomy tower on top of Lockhart’s office in the 2021 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets set, which in both cases, the placing of locations is quite inaccurate. However, we are now focusing accuracy when it comes to these Hogwarts sets, since the Owlery is actually a separate building from the rest of the castle in the films. Just to make a correction, that Filch minifigure from the Owlery set is the same as the one from the 2022 Dumbledore’s Office set but without the leg printing, which makes it a downgrade, although I suppose they wanted to keep some exclusivity to that minifigure form that Dumbledore’s Office set, and decided to include Filch in the Owlery set since he appeared in that scene in the books. The figure may unfortunately be a downgrade, and getting Mrs. Norris with him would’ve been great, but it makes the set the cheapest way to get Filch in a LEGO Harry Potter set, even though both this set and the boathouse are a bit overpriced. Since we are getting individual Hogwarts sections with a lot of detail for their sizes, it would be awesome to see a Hogwarts greenhouse as a standalone set. That set might include at least four students in Herbology uniforms, as well as Professor Sprout with both arm printing and back dress printing since they seem to be giving a lot of detail to these minifigures of Hogwarts professors in these sets. Of course, the greenhouse would be on top of a rocky section to fit with the rest of Hogwarts, but again getting a standalone Hogwarts greenhouse set with a lot of detail would be a dream come true. While we may have gotten a lot of Hogwarts sets before, I am excited to see how these newer versions of those older sets turn out.
Jeez 😂
in 2023, they made a new endgame wanda which has a waistcape and the same hair color as the endgame wanda but in the right color
lego also gave wanda the multiverse of madness face
@goldenNinja3000 Do you have a parts list for this. My son and I came across your video and want to recreate this with our Iron man figures that we have.
I don't have a full parts list, but if you check out this previous video you can see how I designed my suit chambers: kzread.info/dash/bejne/paKLrdmOedGfgdo.html. I think I changed the design slightly to what you saw in this video. Good luck and have fun building :)
Oh yeah
For a theme that focused on the Batman lore, I thought that the LEGO Batman Movie theme was a great theme overall. We got some really cool vehicles and builds, and that theme was the only way to get a full Wayne Manor, even though it has been modified as the "Joker Manor" when the villains took over Wayne Manor in The LEGO Batman Movie, and we still haven't gotten another Wayne Manor to this day. In addition, most of the figures we got from the theme were super detailed; they even gave arm printing to random GCPD officers! Some of my favorite minifigures from that theme include Poison Ivy from the Scuttler set, Two-Face from the Two-Face Double Demolition set, and Harley Quinn from the Batwing set. I think that those three figures are the best versions of those villains we ever got in LEGO form.
You'll like the Two-Face review coming in a few weeks then :)
@@GoldenNinja3000 Alright. I’ll stay tuned.
Thanks.
I love your collection man but i think you can remove the figure you have in double like the mark 3 and 85
The doubles are different from each other due to the new helmet mold. That's why they're included! These videos wouldn't include every Iron Man Minifigure if I left those ones out.
@@GoldenNinja3000 i understand
The eyes and arms/hands and the paint details are better on the old one but the newer one has more accurate colours
No star wars its 25 years for them
I don't buy every Star Wars set in a wave and I'm not really interested in many of the sets this year, so I'm not making videos on them. I got the UCS Tie Interceptor but that's it so far.
Wow
The ace of clubs may be the weakest, but I do like how the batarang has been thrown into the club sign. It's sorta cool
It may be repetitive to get some of these sets, considering that LEGO mostly uses only the 8 Harry Potter films as references for their LEGO sets, while Star Wars and Marvel still have more media coming in their way, meaning that those two themes are getting more ideas for LEGO sets. However, while we may have gotten too many Hogwarts-based sets by this point, at least the Harry Potter theme tries to go with a different approach every time the theme has a restart. The 2018-2020 Hogwarts sets had gray roofs for the first time while having iconic locations from Hogwarts in the films with detachable modules that could be swapped. The 2021-2023 Hogwarts, while having more possibilities for modularity due to having removable roofs and floors, had a not-so-great star due to the limited space to place figures inside the modules because of the grated floors. Also, it may have been frustrating some people who got used to the grey roofs and they decided to switch back to sand green roofs for the Hogwarts sets to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the theme, even though there were two hiatuses between 2001 and 2018. Despite that, those sand-green roof sets from 2021-2023 were eventually made to create something that is more architecturally accurate to the films than before, with the bridge and stuff, resulting in the creation of something that is great for both play and display, even though you will need a lot of space to display all of those sets at once. Now they are giving us the real deal to create “the most detailed LEGO brick-built Hogwarts Castle scene ever” by switching back to the grey roofs and providing a lot of attention to detail to individual sections like the boathouse, the owlery, and now the Great Hall, which the latter is undeniably the most accurate minifigure-compatible Great Hall we’ve ever gotten to date, even though a couple of parts of it could be improved. And by getting remakes of certain sets, we continue getting characters we’ve never gotten in LEGO form before such as Madam Pomfrey from the 2022 Hospital Wing set, the Grey Lady from the 2023 Room of Requirement set, Madam, and other characters. I cannot wait to see what the LEGO Harry Potter theme has to offer in the next two years to see how detailed this new Hogwarts system becomes!
Thanks.
. Thank you.
It would’ve been great if the Flying Saucer Costume Fan, in addition to having arm and side leg printing, had two balls with cross holes as accessories: one in yellow to repesent the Sun, and one in red to possibly represent Mars. Even if they were not printed, they would’ve still been better than not giving the figure any accessories at all. That would’ve made the figure a lot more worth the $5 price tag. That figure would’ve been my favorite in the series if it came with what I said previously. This may be a bit of a controversial opinion since this figure is considered the “least special” figure in the series, but my favorite figure from this series has to be the space walking astronaut. I just think that she is the ultimate LEGO astronaut minifigure with all the printing she has, and the substance of the whole figure with her backpack on and all the parts makes her a worthy inclusion for the series, and definitely one of the most worth the $5 price tag. This is a strong minifigure series overall, even though a couple of figures could’ve been better.
I totally agree with both points!
Wow
7:25 This is beginning to sound a lot like the similar argument with another expensive, exclusive minifigure lego put in a cheaper set 😭😭
It might be a reference to that…
Thanks.
As someone who also hasn’t seen much of Batman: The Animated Series, I think that this set has a lot of awesome Easter eggs for Batman fans in general, even for those who haven’t seen the animated series. I wish that less stickers were used, especially for the smaller ones like the ones representing characters that appear in the series. I actually knew a few of the more obscure character like Condiment King because of The LEGO Batman Movie In terms of the figures, I do wish that Catwoman came with dual-molded arms instead of black arms to make the figure look a bit more accurate to her animated series counterpart. Overall, I think that this is a must have for Batman fans in general, whether they’ve watched the animated series or not, but it would be a better experience for those who have actually seen it.
I realized I call this an Art set quite a bit in this video! I know it belongs to the DC/Batman themes and not the official LEGO Art theme, but for all intents and purposes this is an Art set since it’s literally a buildable piece of wall art. It’s a LEGO art set even if it’s not a LEGO Art set! 😜 Also, hanging this set was NOT easy. The removable sections that expose the hanging pins are great, but the set is so heavy at the bottom it’s hard to secure on a wall. I was holding it by the top of the frame with one hand and bracing the side with the other when both sides of the set split apart at the bottom and the entire thing came crashing down to the floor. The back needs a lot more reinforcement so you can hang it by holding the top and bottom like any other art piece.
Man the war machen red eye could be fire
noice
*Actually when I think about it...optional extension arm pieces for this MCU Iron-Spiderman figure would have been cool. Glider build is satisfying, as a major accessory. Indeed I hope we see more, going forward. Appropriately, that is!*
Highly respected review!
They charging you 100 for the character pretty much
When i see set 76289 ,i say shut up and take my money
No quick silver or ultron😢😢
Yeah, super disappointing :( Focusing on the Hydra fortress is a cool idea but the diorama needed Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Strucker.
I do believe this is a remake of the original set and not just a reference.
I wish that the Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron set was based off the final battle from Age of Ultron instead, which was definitely more interesting than the battle from the beginning of the movie. Not to mention that this set feels inconsistent when comparing it to the other diorama sets. While it is great to finally get all 6 main Avengers in one set that isn’t $500, making the set based off the final battle would’ve been much better. Even if we didn’t get all 6 original avengers in that final battle, and kept only Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk, we could’ve gotten an accurate version of Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Ultimate Ultron, two Ultron sentries, and a figure of Vision without the phasing effect. That would’ve made it a much better set, as it would be more consistent with the other diorama sets.
Good: - Great wave for people trying to get a start at collecting LEGO Marvel sets. - Milano looks great and has adequate seating for all of the Guardians of the Galaxy. - Not a fan of the rubber capes (especially Doctor Strange's - his is too vibrantly red), but they look decent for Thor and Loki. Just hope they don't become the norm. - Finally, an alternate angry face for Hulk as well as another accurate printing for his Age of Ultron look. Bad: - Gamora not being in her first outfit. Really wanted to have one for my Endgame final battle and we already got the Ravager outfit version before. - Surtur looks a bit weird when compared to his official movie appearance. - Age of Ultron assemble set repeats Captain America's and Thor's suits, which is inaccurate to their movie looks. Would've been awesome if they bothered to create new torso and possible leg prints. For just over 600 pieces, it's definitely not worth ~$100. As a whole, for me, this wave is an easy skip. On the plus side, it lets me save up more for the X-Mansion coming out later this year.
I also hope rubber capes don't totally replace the cloth ones, but to be honest I far prefer the rubber Cloak of Levitation to the cloth ones from 2016-2018. I don't think we should have gotten Gamora in her first outfit since we haven't seen a Ravager suit for her in 10 years and it's more fun to have the entire team suited up together in the MIlano. I do hope we get a version of her first costume one day soon, though. I would've loved one or two more 10th anniversary Guardians sets, tbh. Just so we could get original versions of Gamora and Nebula and a big Groot.
The Milano is amazing!!😍😍 I've already bought it to also get the GWP
17:12 I find this the most annoying thing...
Yeah, it's super annoying since a consistent look for the dioramas has already been established.
lol you got your wish for the tatooine homestead
Don’t bodyshame Sauron!
Big ass head
Can you tell me exactly how many extra pieces are in bag 4?
BrickLink will have a record of all the extra pieces in a set!
Im a bit dissapointed that they didn’t reuse the ankylosaurus system for the stegosaurus it would’ve worked 100% but still I love how BIG the mold is
Same, I love LEGO® dinosaurs in general so even when I hate the low-effort new species (Giganotosaurus and Brachiosaurus) I still love the figures. The Stegosaurus looks great in the photos on the LEGO® Instagram account, but it's definitely a step down.
The bottom jaw for the allo is the baryonyx jaw
Thanks!
Lower jaw for allosaurus is reusing the barrionyx jaw
It is? I thought their heads were different sizes!
@@GoldenNinja3000 yes it is you can look at them and compare it is
@@leolegostopmotion7966 Yup Allosaurus head , great 👍. Jaw piece, yeah not so much.
I’m annoyed because the stogosaurus set cost 100 dollars for were I am and the allosaurus set is 150 dollars I’m pissed
If we could move the head we could have talken it off and put a triceratops head on making a stegoceratops
That's the dream! I want to make my own hybrids.
The ankylosaurus can’t move its head
Oh yeah! I was trying to remember if it could. That also irritated me, but I liked the swinging tail and of course it still had moveable legs.
@@GoldenNinja3000 yes
I hate how dinosaur quality goes down and prices go up
Definitely agree. The Brachiosaurus with unposeable legs was already a step down, now we aren't even getting full printing??
@@GoldenNinja3000 yes lego is makeing some bad decisions
@@GoldenNinja3000 Also the Quetzalcoatlus didn't have a movable head and legs. The Atrociraptors and Pyroraptor also didn't have claw printing and movable parts ( apart from the jaws). Don't even get me started on the constant reuse of the Indoraptor legs for other dinosaurs. Is it too hard to just modify that leg piece to not have a sickle claw ? I don't understand Lego's decisions like this.

It’s so awesome to see the sister tower being turned into a LEGO set!
Great review!! The gollum mold is different from the 2012 one because the leg with the bended knee is on the other side. Also, what was this at 11:30?!?!?! Did i hear that right??
Thanks, I realized the mold is different after uploading! And yes, you heard that correctly... Rings of Power is a fantastic show and I'm super excited for Season 2! Even though I like Frodo and Sam, I find them very boring and Hobbits are the least interesting thing about LOTR to me 😬
@@GoldenNinja3000 Well, each to his own I guess! I can see how some could think they are boring but they are the key players in the LOTR. As for RoP, i had best not say my feelings about it 🙃 But im glad that you like it!
The glowing effect at the top of the tower is GENIUS makes it look like it’s lit up even without the light brick 😍
So bs it was a gwp only. They need to sell it
These are some sick improvements
Thank you!!
