    Their is literally nothing Peruvian about this….but this is very much a traditional Mexican style hot sauce, only they would use Cotija cheese and Defo not mayonnaise.

    Parmesan cheese? At any grocery store. Most mayonnaises have mustard in them.

    I had no idea you could make couscous that easily with boiling water instead of a pot of boiling water, that's a game changer.. Rice not so much?

  • @Greenhealthycooking
    @Greenhealthycooking4 күн бұрын

    No, doesn't work with rice unfortunately. Only couscous.

    Looks great, but I'd prefer a more realistic time with prep..an hr sounds great but it's a false representation, I do appreciate the honesty to let us know it's a mis-stated time.

    all electric pressure cookers regardless of model and brand. In a 6-quart you can cook as little as 1 cup but in an 8-quart you'll have to cook at least 2 cups as the minimum liquid requirements for an 8-quart is 2 cups.

  • @Greenhealthycooking

    I personally eat them cold but they can all be reheated. Just keep the mango salsa separate, it's the only thing that cannot be heated.

    I just put 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of long grain rice in my 8 qt IP and got a burn notice. Finished it off in the microwave. What should I have done differently?

  • @Greenhealthycooking
    @Greenhealthycooking16 күн бұрын

    An 8-quart needs a minimum of 2 cups of water to get to pressure properly. You can't cook only 1 cup of rice in an 8-quart. You'll have to cook 2 cups rice in 2 cups water for it to work. Only in a 6-quart or 3-quart you can cook as little as 1 cup.
