The dialog are so meme in this series..celestial memes. The mecha scenes feel like a forced ad at the end and with the plot melting it hurt the overall impression.

These songs reminded me of the Golden Days of Gundam. Back then, the entire mech genre was about the carnal joy of watching massive war machines blowing each other up. Nowadays... Ugh. SEED was okay but the whole Jesus Yamato not killing people rubs me the wrong way. Build Fighters was not my thing. Sorry I like mecha shows that are made for adults. Blood Orphans was very good but too depressing to watch again. Hathaway was *french kiss* Thunderbolt was *french kiss* And then there was Witch of Mercury.... God damn I hate that show. The animation was decent but the action was too few to get my mech blood pumping. Not a single kiss from the 2 leads?! Really?! And that climactic battle was so underwhelming. The super dooms day weapon disappears thanks to the power of love, friendship and family? Screw you! Ericht Samaya is somehow alive because the power of love friendship and family? F that! And then theres the western DEI.... I miss the golden days of mecha T.T
