  What's the most effective way of sharing this with our neurologist...in a way that might help to make them listen?

  Dear Jessica, Excellent question! I know many neurologists who have listened to my talks and talks from others and are fascinated. But since this is quite a novel idea (but evidence is there) there will always be doctors that may not be as open. I think a good way is to share lectures such as this one with clinicians, fellow caretakers but maybe even Epilepsy Foundations and Societies. They often fund epilepsy research and if we can get more funding to study the gut-brain connection in epilepsy, we will be able to get more, convincing results that eventually may become accepted to the wider community of neurologists.

  I find your choice of the image of an “elderly person” at around 17:00 on the slide labeled Treatment Considerations in the Elderly to be demeaning and insulting, especially in a video that is supposed to educate and support. Do you really think that represents the reality of elderly persons? You lost all credibility with me with the use of that image.

  Very helpful! I wonder if immediate fasting after TBI to induce autophagy and supplementation with MCT to offset glucose depression would be beneficial as an easy, cheap, low risk therapy for potential prevention of subsequent PTS/PTE.

  My Hashimoto's brought my epilepsy back; the only thing that has helped me so far is Autoimmune Protocol Diet

  God chose the illnesses and the plans. He chose the lessons that were learned from each "failure" as you call them and hard success as i do. Keep doing what you are, epileptics like me depending on you doc. If doesn't work for the way you want, then you sent me to home away from this hell away from this violent place.   Thank you for this comprehensive review of all these terms. Also, thank you for including applied scientific studies as well. Because of this video, I am more confident in my ability to appropriately describe EEGs now that I have a clear and concise formula to do so. This is very much appreciated! This video is well done and easily applied in real-world scenarios. Bravo!
