    It was. For a time in the 1990s, it was the anthem of British Hong Kong (though unofficially I think). There is even a version with lyrics in Cantonese.

    The history of my family is not well known cause my elders are secretive about our past and my great grandfather the only thing I know was he may or may not have fought against the japanese in ww2 but the eldests say that's not true and are trying to keep secrets even my own grandfather does not know a thing about his own father besides his name and where he came from as of why he came to America and who he was is a mystery and there are even worse secrets I shouldn't talk about but wanted to throw some of my heritage out there so people can see cause it's all true!!!
