  1922 рік- Analysis of the poem "The Drum of Sorrow" by Geo Shkurupii in Ukrainian (passport of the work) The poem "The Drum of Sorrow" by Geo Shkurupii is an expressive poetic story about the great and mysterious feeling of love, about its longing, joy and excess. Analyzing this verse, several key points can be noted. The image of love: The poem conveys the immense power of the feeling of love through the stars, evening shadows, nature, and also through the gentle, intimate face of a loved one. This love is manifested in gentle touches, looking into the eyes and kisses. Drum of sorrow: The image of the drum of sorrow creates an atmosphere of tragedy, a sense of melancholy and inferiority in a world marked by starry skies and city lights. This may indicate that even in the brightest moments of love there is longing and uncertainty. Immensity and grandeur: The poet notes the enormity of his feelings, comparing himself to a huge madman, even "worldly" in the newly seen eyes of his beloved. This creates the impression of unrestrained and disordered feelings. Language texture: An important element of the poem is the language texture, which conveys intimacy and tenderness. The poem contains many figurative similes and metaphors that help create the impression of a strong emotional experience. Symbolism of stars and lights: Stars and city lights can symbolize bright moments of love, but along with that, they can also be a reminder of transience and the longing that comes with them. The final outpouring of emotion: In the last lines of the poem, there is an intensification of emotional tension, as the poet calls for the drum of sorrow to beat even harder to reflect the painful feeling of the end.
