How long does this take? Love your videos :)
Beauty! Which shade?
Can you put the link ☺️ I’m trying to find the rubber base for born pretty and can’t find it!!
It's in the description box :) bornpretty.com/products/born-pretty-pro-15ml-rubber-base-gel?ref=sl45do66
Could you outline each step and product?? 💘💘
Hi! I have two full length videos on my channel explaining everthing. I put them all in a playlist 'How to BIAB nails - from start to finish' :)
Do you cure after each nail or do you apply the gel on all fingers and cure at once?
I flash cure each nail (so put it in the lamp for like 10sec) and then finish of with a full cure when I reach the last finger :)
Do you only use 1 layer?
Yes! But as you can see in the video it's a thicker layer to build some structure :)
Bienas tardes quisiera saber como reparo uñas deapues de una aplicacion con ruber
How do you get BIAB to not peel on the tip of the nail? Not by the cuticle but my tip always separates from the nail??
Finish filing helps so much! So after top coat file your nails a bit shorter (to the thickness of a creditcard). Really helps! And finding the right nail shape for you, square for example lifts way more frequently than oval on me 😊
Thank you sooo much!!!
So simple yet elegant ❤
❤️🥰
Do you file after application and how do you dry it?
You dry it with a uv lamp and you can file it after but it can cause lifting
@@marit1485 Thank you for your response.. But mine is sticky even after drying, or does it mean it didn't stay long enough..?
I do! Right after top coat application. Just a few strokes with your file till the free edge has the thickness of a creditcard 😊 it does not cause lifting if the adhesion is good, quite the opposite actually it can really help the nails last longer (I can tell from experience btw) 😊
perfect
Do you e-file after the gel application? Or just top coat ?
Just top coat! 😊
What drill do you use
This one from AliExpress :s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDpm1el 🥰
I'm new at this. Could someone explain the benefits of rubberbase?
Hey, how come your builder gel seems very thin and liquidy? I bought number 19 biab from TGB and it’s very thick and sticky.
Probably because it's cold! Put it between your legs to heat it up a bit 😊
Did u use base ? ❤
Hmmm I can't remember, but I do think so!
I would like to see you do the other hand
I'll try to film it but not sure if getting that on camera will be easy 😅
Can we add a layer of a coloured gel polish on the top of the rubber base before adding the topcoat?
You can! Just make sure the rubberbase isn't too thick 😊
After application of BIAB and curing do l apply a color of my choice
You can! Just make sure the BIAB isn't too thick then 😊
Are these two separate products? Rubber base and BIAB?
In essence, it is. But I have seen so many different opinions 😅 in my experience, rubberbase is more flexible and doesn't add that much additional strength compared to BIAB which is a builder gel. 😊
Hi! Beautiful application😍 I have a question. Do I have to cure every finger individually or can I cure when I finish the whole hand?
You should put BIAB on each nail separately and flash cure in between. Once all nails are done, you can then fully cure. With BIAB, if you wait to cure until all nails are done, the product will run into your cuticles and side walls. You can flip your hand or finger upside down to help hold the product where you applied it. BIAB works best with gravity, so if you were to keep your hand laid flat or in whatever position you hold your hand while the other nails are being completed, the application will self-level.
Exactly! Once you have a perfect application, you don't wanna lose it, so flash curing followed by a full cure is the way to go 😊
What if i want to use a color? When does that step come in?
Base coat and rebber base and top coat?
This is a builder gel 😊
And then the other hand 😂❤
hi how much dos it cost for biab
Hi! Do you mean in a salon?
How long do these nails last
Typically 4-5 weeks 😊 but depends on how rough you treat your nails 😅
Can we use rubber base coat and rubber top coat ?
Hi! If you are using BIAB by TheGelBottle it is best to stay within that system (so the recommended base coat and topcoat). :)
1. Apply base coat. Flash cure 2. Apply slip coat 3. Apply thick builder blop at upper middle. Drag builder to cuticle left and right. Drag swing builder down nail 4. Use a fine liner brush for edges. 5. 60s cure of entire hand 6. Top coat gel. Flash cure
Just make sure to fully cure the hand after base coat and top coat, I flash cure in between nails just so the product doesn't move but I always finish of with a full cure :)
@@femdoesnails haha omy I was leaving noted for myself but the teacher saw it. Thank you 🙏☺️
Is slip coat also biab???
How do you manage to do both hands? Am a right-handed and I cannot do the right hand properly. Only the left hand comes out good
I wish there was a simple solution but it's just a lot of practice and patience. It's a nightmare in the beginning but you'll get there over time :)
Hi, how do you stop it leaking. Mine always seems to leak to the sidewall
Hi! Leaking to the sidewalls could be because there is still some residue on your nail plate (so be very thorough during prepping). Applying a slip layer (so a thin layer that you don't cure) can also help because you kinda mark the boundaries of where the biab will flow. Also be mindful of when you are spreading the biab over the nail to not het too close to the sidewall, use a fine liner brush to spread the product there, turn your hand upside down so the product can level and also pull away from the sidewalls. Ans lastly: try to work as fast as possible and flash cure in between nails. Hope this helps!
@@femdoesnailshow long do you flash cure for?
I do this, but I start seeing almost immediately that base didnt stick to my nails in the corners 😢 or starts to peel off 2 days after…
Hi! This is likely because the nail isn't prepped enough. Be very careful and thorough while prepping the nail, also make sure that you don't touch the nail again after prepping.
@@femdoesnailscan you explain how to prep the nail?
I didn't see that you put the naels under the uv light why not excellent work ❤
Hi! I did cure the nails, just didnt film it since my lamp was out of frame and it would make the video a lot longer 😊
Badly filmed. Too fast sometimes I couldn’t finish watching
Hi! I have an updated version of this video on my channel.
It has some good things though
Sorry not showing well. Too fast
Is a lamp needed for this nails?
Yes, absolutely! 😊
Hey hey, what to do if the BIAB is too runny? Like too liquid? Thanks!
Try storing it in a colder place! Maybe put it in the fridge for a short amount of time 😊
How often need reused the solution?
Hi! I only use the solution once and then throw it out. I do this routine everytime I do my nails 🤍
Do you need to clean the nails or use a top coat after?
Yes, absolutely! Top coat is necessary 😊
When l apply the gel builder into my fake nail it stay sticky and it dosent dry do l have to put a base coat to the fake nail or some think else before l put the Clear builder gel fix of Orly
You mean that it doesn't cure in the lamp? Maybe your lamp is not strong enough? Even of your lamp is strong enough there will be a stick residue layer, that you can remove or just apply a top coat over 😊 whether or not you need a base coat fully depends on the brand you are using 😊
Hi what colour is this you are using? Also do you have a video showing how to do application with colour and designs. Many thanks
This is BIAB 19 from TheGelBottle. I don't have one for colour application (great idea for a new video). But I do have some designs in my KZread shorts :)
@@femdoesnails perfect, thank you for reply. Keep up the great content 👍
Heb je nog een link voor removal bit België? 😊
Hi! Eventjes moeten zoeken maar gevonden: amzn.to/48NKaQp :)
Can you recommend a really good nail lamp that doesn’t cost a fortune.
Hi! I have one from Sun UV (48W) and works great. I think I paid 40 euros for it :) Just be sure that the lamp is powerful enough!
@@femdoesnails what does it need to be for bgib
@@TJ-vc5ky Really depends on the brand! But for TheGelbottle it is one of 48W and LED lights with wave length 365 + 405nm :)
But you don't have to remove everything every single time, especially if there's not lifting 🤔
You don't, but I prefer it when switching between colors since biab is often kinda see through 😊
Very helpful video! And a tip for you: don’t forget to clean under your nails, I saw some residue under there😬
Thanks for watching! 😊 I clean under the nails but might have missed a spot 😅😊
Hi! Can I place a gel x nail ontop of this?
Not sure! But I don't think so
Do you need use machine file?
No, not at all! A manual manicure works just as well 😊
do you do separate finger each time? or cure the entire nail for the rubber base at the same time?
I flash cure (+-10sec) after each finger and finish with a full cure when the application on all nails is complete (I do this for both rubberbase and top coat) 😊
What top coat did you use?
I think I used a Born Pretty top coat! 😊
