This video brings back memories. I was stationed with the 180th Aviation Company at Dolan Barracks from 79 to 81. Schwabisch Hall was just a short distance away. Absolutely lovely town and the local people were so welcoming to us American GIs.

Why do they have so many barriers on the green areas?
I think it's mainly so that the cows and sheep don't get away but also so that the tourists don't destroy the grass. So mainly to protect the animals and their food🙃.

Hey, there are a lot of immigrants all around central Europe. I couldn't tell you any specifics, on the streets I mainly encountered tourists.
Been there twice these past two years, lovely city, slow paced, interesting and it definitely has its quirks. Miss it
