If you buy a jumbo, pre-printed sticker pack, giving them away with every order is great. If you're making the stickers yourself, I suggest keeping them for like, free sticker with a purchase of $20+. Also you can always do bundle deals if you want to move product, like if they're $25, do 2 for $40 or even 2 for $35, but don't just drop the prices!

Hello, can you set your camera up somewhere in the corner Doing a time lapse at the market showing foot traffic? Also in the people checking out your items you do have to show their face.
Hello 🤗 unfortunately most of the events that I do only allow a table and or a small rack so I didn’t have anywhere to put my camera up and I don’t want to risk my camera falling and breaking if it’s not properly secured. Hopefully next year if I do more markets I’ll have more opportunities to be able to set my camera up!

I was at that market too. I was outside and that was one of the worst I’ve done but I kind of expected it based on my experience with vending. It was my first with this organizer. It’s not my typical kind of market but I wanted to check it out and I paid very little since I was outside. I feel like it’s more a networking thing, and also markets where people actually show up to the market to shop are the best. That event it’s a slow day, it was hot and most of the people who went, went to eat and probably only will spend small amounts impulsively. Conventions are really the best but you have to be sure it’s your market. If you know your audience I would say try to find niche event like you mentioned. Church events, or general markets or festivals.
Ohh hey girl Heyy 👋🏽, I’m sorry to hear that market was a bust for you as well that seems to be the theme this year with a lot of these markets. It definitely was more of a networking event which I’d usually be fine with had the fee not been so expensive 😅 but I’ll take it as a learning experience! I definitely have to try harder to find events with my audience, it seems that that has been my issue lately.
I haven't had great luck picking events this year. Hoping that my go to events in the fall are MUCH better because, so far this year, events have not been great. I hope you have better luck with the next one!

I’m so glad I was able to be helpful!! I’m usually concerned with posting a negative video on certain markets because my experience might not be everyone else’s but I’m glad to be able to share some insight.
Don't lose hope and remember the numerous benefits of participating in markets. Concentrate on building your brand awareness, attracting more people to learn about you, how to reach you, and engage with you. Before committing to any vendors, inquire about the expected foot traffic or usual attendance numbers at the event. If it's a new event with uncertain attendance, it may not be the best use of your time. While this particular market may not have been successful, remember that each experience adds to your knowledge and expertise. Your message is valuable and worth sharing, so keep spreading the word. 🙏🏾

A little advice, wear your merch. You're the biggest piece, most persuasive kind of advertisement that you can bring to a market Typically the items that you wear will do the best bc you're a live model!.
Yes I totally agree! For my first market I wore my own t shirt but some where in between I stopped wearing them 😅 I definitely need to make it more of a habit.
I completely understand… I think its just the events.. I told myself I was going to just visit the craft fairs I want to participate in first and if the traffic is good I will participate next year

Don't give up on the markets. Location is key, you're still learning a lot by getting experience. The more you the better you'll get and you'll be able to know better which events you want to be a part of and know when theyre happening so you can try for them. Keep going! Maybe more local markets. I know like Smyrna vinnings area usually has something every few months on the green during spring - fall and its always busy. Lots of venders of all types... and yeah there is the music 😂😂😂 or maybe Piedmont Park or Grant Park or even Atlantic Station.
Ok wow thank you so much for the tips 💕!! I didn’t even think to look at the piedmont area and i definitely check out Smyrna, i think partly because i started looking so late I didn’t really get a chance to fully vet and find the best markets.

Don’t give up. It’s all about location. I attended one today myself and it wasn’t great at all. The Christmas one I did turned out great but the last 2 I attended was horrible but I’m a believer in keep trying else where

The Christmas event will probably do way better because people generally are in a spending spirit. Also to your point, maybe the people at the previous market were not the target market. On the upside, you are starting to pick up a pattern on what works and doesn't where market events are concerned(skin in the game). Plus you met some cool people. ⭐
Yes all very true it was definitely not my target audience, the only downside with that is that i haven’t found any events that actually have a good amount of my target audience 😅

I’ve heard of loklik machines. How do you like it? I have a cricut and have one for a year and it broke and to get another. I hate having to have internet connection to do things. Could you do a pro and con of the machine on your experience?
Hello 👋🏽 I do have a video a couple months back on my channel telling my thoughts on the Loklik Machine and the pros and cons of it. But the quick answer is I would only recommend it if you won’t be doing stickers. It works amazingly on HTV and permanent vinyl but it can be quite challenging when working with stickers 😅
