Good review
Thank you 😊
When was this made?
I’ve lived in Bristol for 20 years never felt at home here and could easily leave tomorrow if I could think of anywhere I actually wanted to live.
Are you right wing or racist by any chance ? 🤔
@@CalneResident What on earth has my comment got to do with race or politics ?
Overall was a nice place or not?
Then they tore down the Colston statue, renamed the streets and buildings a put up a statue to a black woman who had cervical cancer.
Yep history in the making. Radical wonderful Bristol 200 years of it. The Tories and Racists hate it
@@CalneResident Bristol died about a decade ago. It was a great City
Living in Marlbourough hill behind Bri. We used to.go to the White Ladies cinema Saturday mornings. It was fantastic with my brother 😂
I grew up in Kingswood in the 70’s and beyond…. Very interesting but most certainly not the view I had of the place, working class nice people on the whole peppered with endless fighting. Really cool to hear the history and will spew the facts to anyone who cares to listen.
Loved the video! Next time I go to barber motor sports museum in pale city Alabama, I will look for some Douglas bikes. I am sure there are some on display. It is the largest motorcycle museum in the world! Greetings from south east Alabama USA ☮️❤️
Bristol city fell into the hands of talentless architect's and corrupt planners since the war. Big contractor's fill their pockets parasiting Bristol and I'm sure those in planning benefit from it financially, otherwise we might have had a truly loved and beautiful city, and that could only have happened if we had been determined to employ respectful architect's with talent. There are small pocket's of Bristol with a hint of it's ancient Soul we can still proudly point tourist's to, aplogising when overshadowed by tower's of a growing concete jungle and swathes of tarmac, potholes, and badly laid pavement's. George Ferguson you were at least that much better than the present day Mayor. Sadly the city has been taken by woke ideologies and this mental illness may never be cured.
4:58 do you think it is good idea to use steam cleaning around those parts where gas would spark? in a way that it could perhaps do some damage to that or something
How Very Tragic Times!
Purpose for Criss-cross harness?
Wow Thank you but I couldn’t of done it without someone holding him I feel so happy iv finally got this into him as I tried a few times myself I seen him stick his tongue out so knew he had swallowed it & I got it to the back of his tongue Thanks for the video
I owned a 1949 T35 Douglas that drove nicely but suffered from poor materials such as broken gearbox selecter forks and fracture prone frame, cured by complete frame rebuild in reynolds 532 I think?),which was lighter and slightly more flexible.I wish I had it now.
Absolutely brilliant, thank you .
My favourite was The Charlton in Keynsham. As we often went to Saturday matinees there in the 1970s.
Just got back from a stay here, we were in one just along from you. Was a nice stay, only thing I will say is the caravan was quite grubby, the seating was quite dirty and the edges of the carpets etc. Also the oven didn't work properly as the door seal was missing at the top of the door. Lack of phone signal etc was quite annoying but you often find that at these places.
Chamberlain with his politics decided to give Hitler land!!! Hitler bombed them!!!
That wasn’t the Mathew but similar size it’s literally down the river from the SS Great Britain maybe it wasn’t moored that day but that definitely is not the Mathew, that being said one of the best documentaries I have seen on my hometown though !!
Nope: worms are part of a cat's biology for many thousands of years. Like it or not. My cat became fat and sad when I thought I would do him a favour freeing him of them
Thank , Great video😊
Thanks! 👍
I love hearing the Brizzle accents, I live and work in Gloucestershire and have spent much time in Brizzle, its always a joy to visit, I did once try to find the remains of the factory but no luck, it would be a great tribute to the Company if the Museum had a Gallery dedicated to these machines,in the same way they have lots of things related to the Bristol Aircraft Company, who built some of the best aircraft in the world, perhaps like Ukraine Brizzle has an engineering gene running through its folk
There’s an area dedicated to Douglas motorbikes at Kingswood Heritage Museum in Warmley. Several Duggies are on display there. There’s a photo of the area on their website. www.kingswoodmuseum.org.uk/museum/history/
@@PPMsTV many thanks I did not know about that A visit is in order
Some of our film was shot at Kingswood Museum - the cavalcade went from there. It’s not part of Bristol Museums and it’s run by some knowledgeable volunteers. I think you’ll find things there you won’t see anywhere else! I was trying to check whether M-shed on Bristol harbourside had any bikes on display there as they used to have a big transport section. I haven’t been for several years and can’t find that info online but might be worth checking out too if you’re ever over that way.
Nice ty
Live on the edge of of it ..been to the pub next to where the murder took place ,an ancient monument
Come and do mine please x
Great video! Very useful guide for the interested home user! Thank you
The Blitz was in response to the RAF bombing cities and towns in Germany.
LIES!
@@michellepeoplelikeyoumurde8373it’s more complicated than that. It’s true that the RAF bombed Berlin during the Battle of Britain and that led to a change in German targets from military to cities. However, they did have previous form - you’ve probably heard of Guernica. Anyway, we visited a hundred times more destruction on Germany than they did us.
Amazing great Vidio loved it thankyou
My first inclination was to buy the Evolution for the durable design and 4 cylinder pump. BUT there are increasing reports that it is popping 13A fuses in the UK as it requires more energy on startup. The SMART range features a soft start option so should not suffer the same issue. So I would like to see a comparison of quality and design between the similar specced Evolution P60 and Smart P60.
I haven’t tried either model but that’s interesting to hear. Thank you for sharing
I don't see a pressure regulator on the machine, so is it impossible to choose the pressure you're using for each task? Or is the gun trigger actually not just on/off but can be used to regulate the pressure?
There's no pressure regulator and the gun is only on/off; you can't control the pressure that way either. Their solution for selecting pressure is to change the nozzle you're using - narrow-angle nozzles are high pressure and wide-angle nozzles are lower pressure. And there's the variable nozzle that comes with most packages that gives you three settings by twisting the end of the nozzle that basically equate to high, medium and low pressure.
I have just accepted delivery of this oven and I am struggling to set the timer (programmable timer feature) for the oven to come on at a certain time - ie for dinner at 3:15pm when I’m doing the school run. Can anyone assist?
Hi I'm also struggling to use this function. Did you get any help?
niceley done vlog explained everything i wanted to know and more thanks
good girl
Hi would you choose this model over the smart p60?
Unfortunately I can’t say as I haven’t tried the Smart P60
I was evacuated age nine,my foster parents were good people, but I still hated it there,I never stopped crying for the first couple of weeks ,I just wanted to go home to my parents,I would have willingly walked back to london if I could
I’m sorry to hear that. It must have been so difficult for you.
My dad and his brother ran away after abuse from there home, came back to Bristol and they went out looking for unexploded bombs after the all clear, still have some incendiary bombs that was extinguished with sand bags in his garage.
Can you adjust the nozle from vertical/horisontal? Drives me crazy having to hold the Gun like a gangster all the time 😂
I used to be proud of Bristol and proud of England, today I am ashamed of both.
Why? Bristol is the best place I’ve ever lived.
I know what you mean. Bristol born and bred and it has no community cohesion today .
They were fast in Europe but couldn’t outrun the Harleys.
Europes road and needs were different to the USA, look at the way harley of that era in comparison to these long slow lithe motorcycles appear chunky short and the riders sit back with the handlebars coming back wards to them, even today Harleys are all frontage, they seem to go uphill, whereas European motorcycles stay slim and low, they are different horses for different courses, two completely different schools of design , dont forget you have lots of straight roads and long long distances to cover, so big engine and comfy riding position make sense, over an Italian Mountain, you need a different machine although both would perform the same task, and a Vincent was never outrun by a Harley
Do you still like this machine after having it for a while? I’m torn between this and the dupray neat!
I'd say get this one, it's fantastic
My grandparents were born in Bristol in 1890 and 1903. I had a British father and a German mother who had opposed the Nazis. Despite this, my British grandmother never really liked my mother although she wasn‘t a Nazi. Not all Germans were Nazis, and yet, when I watch a film like this, I can understand where the dislike of Germans came from. A great film, thanks.

I've just tried to trick my little boy mixed the pill with treat and he spits it or not even take it from the hand. And they have a meaty flavour apaprently. I think it's the white colour of the pill. I'm gonna try to colour the pill dark using some dark tea wet bag and mix it up with dry food.
Soon as the adverts start, I switch off.

I have seen so many videos and no one has put a pad on the shoulder. She put the 2nd pad on the right side. But I have not seen videos where emt put the first pad on the shoulder.
The low C of G and balanced engine was unfortunately not adopted by other manufacturers why was this?
singles and twins tended to be taller, but they had shorter frames to give quicker handling, in many ways the Douglas design was echoed by Moto Guzzis early singles, long low lithe, but then roads improved and you need a machine to change direction quickly
The only job that is good for is a car I have a p80 it's a all round machine will do the smallest to the biggest job carnt see the point in have a pressure washer that's not good enough for eny job it's only down to size one you carry one pull along
I just bought this machine with gigs accessory box Not used any of it yet but looks good Never heard of the brand untill about a week ago
You need to do some weeding mum
Yes. I was busy the weekend but now I have a couple of days off 😊
