May Allah grant us hidayyah The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Allah the Almighty is Good and accepts only that which is good. And verily Allah has commanded the believers to do that which He has commanded the Messengers. So the Almighty has said: “O (you) Messengers! Eat of the tayyibat [all kinds of halal (legal) foods], and perform righteous deeds.” [23:51] and the Almighty has said: “O you who believe! People getting married right out of high school meanwhile I’m 31 and expired lmao. I live in 4 bedroom house alone with a post tax 6 figure income in the US. My parents think I’m secretly dating when I’m literally alone all the time and every potential I get sent my way won’t even start the talking stage. I’ve always gotten more attention from non Muslim women without trying than I ever did from Muslim families. I think I will eventually commit to single life as I’m tired of the toxic desi Muslim marriage culture which is starting to have a negative effect on my self-esteem.
