  One of my five “greats”. A little patina on the silvery voice is no disappointment. The chest out, head back stance reminds me of Gigli.

  Impresionante descubrir a Rolando Villazón no solo como el más destacado tenor que a tenido México en toda su historia operística, sino además un políglota extraordinario que do0mina ampliamente idiomas tan importantes como el español su lengua materna como mexicano, sino el alemán con un acento cuasi-perfecto, el francés con una espléndida fluidez, así como el inglés de manera tan admirable. En Verdad Rolando Villazón debería ser mucho más conocido en su propio país como mexicano destacadísimo en el escenario mundial de personajes de la más alta talla en el espectáculo. Desgraciadamente han sido los centroeuropeos los que han sacado más ventajas de la calidad y experiencia de este ilustre mexicano, porque han sido los primeros en reconocer su valor y lo han utilizado en diversas maneras. México debería por medio de sus autoridades y sus productores, aprovechar la enorme capacidad de Villazón para promover y divulgar a todos los niveles sociales, las artes musicales y vocales del pueblo mexicano y que no solo en Europa se quede su gran talento.
