I like your drop- dead honesty especially when you said "I didn't do well in this course"... that was a high moment in this video. In addition, I love the way you went on to explain in a nutshell what are the various courses about. Now, you would be able to compare and contrast a couple of great engineering schools' courses and their courses within state of Texas- the UT system and T A&M U systems maybe? You see I'm not sure what the programmes offer since I am not from the US. In other words I would like to have value for money! Are Americans making a terrible mistake by paying no attention to the lesser known schools which might be otherwise having a great engineering school ? What's your honest thoughts on these questions? Thanks.🇬🇾

Useful information: this major makes less money than other engineering degrees on average, this degree has low satisfaction rate, lastly this degree is rare and has very low graduates. This may sound like a good thing bc there is more jobs however civil engineering majors will get the jobs instead. Their degree is better understood by employers and more common. Civil engineering is also more general for what careers are available. Take that as you will from someone who just swapped majors.

You were correct about the African Imhotep being the oldest known black architect but in America it started with Robert Robinson Taylor born in 1868 then came Julian Abele born 1881. Mr. Abele built many buildings on the Duke University campus and the Philadelphia Library. Thank you for talking about this subject.

Howdy, im trying to decide whether to major in architectural or mechanical engineering. How did you decide what path to take? I'm very interested in working in the sustainable/prefab building industry, perhaps eventually starting a company in that industry, so architectural engineering seems perfectly suited to this. However, I am always sort of pulled toward and fascinated by the idea of working in aerospace, and by extension toward majoring in mechanical engineering. Do you have any advice for someone who has this particular interest in architectural engineering, but isn't 100% sure they want to do it, especially at the beginning of my career? Thank you so much!

And the you have a mixed of majors( I guess) so the degree plan would change for a student that is only in architectural engineering? Thanks for the video (love the edition)❤

What do you mean "where are they? "They're not mentally organized to be planners. They're very primitive, short-term oriented people, in case you haven't noticed. You don't know many blacks do you? You should meet more. Not those few from successful parents who live in white communities, but the dumb, entitled cringe layabouts who form the preponderance of the group, who literally commit all the crime within the society and who are politically pandered to and used by the Left because of their easy incitement and corruptibility. The problem with such a conceit as you're stating here is that this leads to the dumbing down and decline in quality of the field through Affirmative Action. You need to stop. Destructive irresponsible behavior. Giving you the benefit of the doubt that you're a kid, incited by flakey Marxists in the education system, and you don't know any better. REAL social problem in the US. though. Bother to have a bit of humility and curious open-mindedness and investigate these things.

Your ignorance is stunning. In Africa most architects are black, wonder where are the white architects there... But hey, liberals are known for fighting against inequality only in Western countries because they think that in other countries there's none of that. Like I said, baffling ignorance.
