Pastor Landon

Pastor Landon

Pastor Landon is a human being, follower of Jesus, husband to Bri and father to Ezra, Violet and Julian. He loves studying the Bible and helping de-mystify it for people while retaining its original and beautiful complexity. He also enjoys record collecting and skateboarding and tea.

In 2017-2019 Pastor Landon did a 72 video series through the entire Bible. Utilizing hermeneutical methods, Bible overviews and outlines and memes and imagery - he created a Bible study curriculum that was both free and engaging.

In 2019 and 2020, for his next project he worked with 8-10 talented animators and created 100 two minute videos about the character of God, the attributes of God, the names of God and just generally answering the question - who is God?

In 2021, Landon released his first written project, a 40,000 word study of the words God uses in the Bible to describe the Bible. Part meta commentary, part Bible study this is available at his website - landonmacdonald.com/store

You seek forgiveness, and ask for help from the Holy Spirit, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” I used to beat my 🥩 four times a day watching a ton of pron and even before I had been baptized or started reading my Bible or even going to church he told me it was time to grow up. I’m not sure how he presents himself to other people, but for me, God not only speaks but is the voice of truth in my mind, I’ve had visions presented to me by satan, and the only one who can cast the devil out of your mind is our Lord and savior, when you’re feeling like sinning try to pray on it, tell those demons that “it is written the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives within me, and, it is written, you shall not tempt the lord your God” when you’re reborn your spirit is created with Jesus and when you seek his wisdom in times of trial, your relationship with Jesus will prosper I haven’t gone to church in a while and I’ve fornicated with my fiance after giving my life to Jesus, after I said I didn’t want to until marriage. I probably need deliverance from whatever I let into my body that isn’t the Holy Spirit, I told you that so I’m not coming off as righteous, I’ve yelled while praying, I’ve asked the lord for patience then yelled to God about my patience being thin. It’s not easy but when you’re upfront and honest with the Lord, he cleanses you. Someone told me, it’s not about heaven or hell, it’s about loving God so much you no longer want to sin. We all got issues and we all have walls around our hearts, allow Jesus search your heart, and anxious thoughts and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you through what we call the devils playground for a reason. Jesus loves you, I love you, we all need help and it’s good to share your burdens, as you let go of things Jesus will open your heart and eyes to the way and the light and the truth.

I had no idea. Maybe I can be redeemed also. Thank you for all you do to bring God's Word to as many people as possible. I feel condemned and have felt that way since I was a teenager. I've been searching for redemption and cannot find it I pray I find it before I die. I know God can help, I just don't know if He will. Lord please forgive me. To God be all the glory🛐

Yeah, it's not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick. Church gatherings are filled with Christians at every level - from the just baptized, to that person who has been in the faith for decades but might still struggle with some sin. That's not an excuse for Christians to keep sinning and overlook the grace of God. Like with Paul, we can absolutely say no to that abuse of God's mercy. But if non-believers think that Christians are unloving, that almost seems logical. Of course most non-Christians probably think most Christians are not loving. If nonbelievers thought Christians were really loving, they would probably hang out with them more, listen to them more, and likely follow Christ too. Before I became a Christian, I thought the same thing - all those Christians are arrogant jerks who only care about themselves, and are just brainwashed weaklings who can't fend for themselves. Then, I realized how loving even the average Christian is, and then I got baptized and became one! And to counterbalance, anyone can walk around using the title "Christian" and do a bunch of evil things. But it's not hard to find non-Christians who think Christians aren't loving. That's like asking a vegan what BBQ restaurant they most often visit. As people, we are all looking for love. You will find and stay with the people that you find to be the most loving. And the people with the most access to love are Christians. God is love. Only those who truly follow Jesus can even connect with the Holy Spirit, and thus, God's perfect love.

The mystery of Godliness is Christ in you. Jesus is our example for keeping the Biblical seventh day sabbath rest. REMEMBER the fourth commandment KJV is reminding us of Genesis 2:2&3. This becomes our last test of faithfulness when sun day blue law is reinstated with force and persecution for sabbath keeping Christians. Then the seven last plagues for the rebellious wicked unrepentant. And Jesus returns to redeem His faithful commandment keeping remnant church. Choose wisely.

This is awesome! Loved this breakdown. This year, I decided I needed to "wrestle with God" more. Pray and ask expectantly of him. So, I have just started reading 1 psalm a week and it has been great reading then watching so many takes on the chapters. So encouraging. So much to get from this one in particular. Many thanks
