Chante Moore’s whistle register sounds the closest to Mariah compared to any other singer who sings in that range. She’s the only other artist whose whistle notes actually sounds like a whistle to me.

Chanté is saving his original songs for later in the season, in order to have more impact. And about "lovin you", answer me this: Where have you seen a performance like that? Mezzo Soprano can sing just as high as Soprano btw it's just that the weight they have in the middle is sufficient and richer than Soprano, their clarity and ease at the top is lower. Chante is a Mezzo Soprano while Ariana Grande is a Soprano. Chante's whistle sounds great but it sounds disconnected from her range whereas Ariana Grande's whistle sounds like it's a continuation of her range. Mariah Carey is in the same boat as Ariana Grande just a Soprano with nodules
