Bring back Ben Gomes.
@Google Everything was great, until your newly purchased domain with a standard Wordpress installation, deactivating the plugins and with active SSL was identified as DANGEROUS and no one accessed the site. No date for review of the review in Google Search Console and no direct explanation of what the hell is causing the site to be considered dangerous.
Thank you!

Hey John....Please take some action on sites like LinkedIn Pulse...spammers are using authoritative sites to rank their content, and original publisher's traffic has gone down for many months....(site reputation abuse)
Thank you a lot for interesting and useful movie.

I think just reverting it back to before the September core update would restore balance to the absolute chaos you've caused for millions of people across the globe. Google SERPS are the worst I've ever seen it whilst BING and others continue to show better more accurate results and people will slowly trickle over to those the more and more unreliable your results become. Let's hope the feedback goes someway towards fixing the most unhelpful update you've ever put on the table.
If I have a Google Sites website, do I need to worry about a sitemap, if so how come it isn't an option on sites?

Love your videos John and the personal touch and humor, please don't change! :D
Reddit is the master.
I watched the video but I don't think I learned anything new. Also the exposition is so synthetic and not explaining the why of things, I didn't really get it. Must be more of a US approach to learnings..
is there any Google update recently released?

Hey Google...Reddit is not an authoritive site.
Let's all pray for the HCU and march core hit sites 🙏🏻 may we recover in the next core update!
Good luck with that
Curious how Google Search is handling Products that are catalog only. Meaning they are not for sale and don't have price. Currently it shows the product is invalid Schema.
For Product snippets, you'd need to specify either reviews, aggregate ratings, or an offer (price) with the current requirements. This is (from my understanding) mostly because of the way Google shows products - either it's tied to a review (or aggregate reviews), or shown as a product to buy. You can of course still use it without the required fields, Search Console will flag it as being incomplete / invalid, and it won't be shown as one of the rich results types in search, but the pages themselves can still show up like any other page in search. Often times that's fine (I mean, before the rich results types, all products were shown as normal pages in search). Having incomplete / "invalid" structured data won't negatively affect your site in ways other than that rich result type not being shown.
@@JohnMueller No reviews or ratings on our website. Thanks John. I think this makes sense and is what I'm currently noticed in the Google index.
Google should introduce more filters so that searchers can have control over what they see.
What would you like to control / what do you think is missing? Happy to forward your thoughts!
@@JohnMueller like if i am searching for a site or a page. Sometimes i only want to see sites.

@@Denney-Obregon I don't think we currently have anything planned on the US-East-Coast at the moment, sorry ... but... there's techseoconnect .com which is a bit technical (but otherwise probably awesome - knowing the folks behind it).
