What would you have the kids who are eliminated do? In my classes those unoccupied kids would cause behavior problems.
Thank you ms!!🎉
Is there a place you talk about a similar writing strategy but for an informational prompt?
Is there any way I could get the Literary Analysis graphic organizer?
cannot access free escape room sadly, please advise
Hi, forgive me for my ignorance but how does the ruberic in the introduction add up to 8, wouldn’t it be 4 since that’s where you circled?
The left bracket had (x2), so 4x2=8. If you go to 4:29, you can see all of the brackets more clearly. It helped me when I was confused. I had to go back and check.
Thank You so much!
PD workshop
I know this video is old but I just came across it and LOVE this idea. I will be a middle school teacher in the fall coming from elementary and will definitely be doing this!!!
I guess the free bell ringers no longer exist?
What is the average time to get to 15 minutes?

I am one of those strict teachers and I am aware that I get burned out if I always try to have my students follow expectations. Thanks for this. I will try it with my kids, but it may also be hard to keep track of or come up with a reward.
some ideas for middle school if they’re allowed, technology games put head down and nap draw, coloring pages maybe try getting them up and out of their seats to stretch or try asking them/ giving them options to pick from

Would this be something you would use at the 6th grade level?
Are you saying palms or poems? Or palmes?
That’s the correct pronounciation for the word poem

Evidently you cannot get the poetry stations without joining the EB Club and you cannot join that because there is a waitlist and they are not taking new people right now.

Are there any videos of teachers teaching this lesson in the classroom?
Hey! Unfortunately not, but if you're an EB Teacher, be sure to check in the community for guidance.
I am 65 and kept all my graded papers with feed back as it made me a better writer (now published) and every once in a while I go back and read them to remind myself of the qualities for outstanding writing. Provide the written feed back and meet with those who could use help. Many will be grateful for your help. I went on to earn an MBA and a law degree driven by the input and all feedback from teachers like yourself. 😊
Wow! What an amazing story! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Quite helpful
Glad you think so!
These are great ideas. I wish I could utilise stations in my classes; however, unfortunately, I have over 30 kids packed into a tiny room 😅
That is a challenge for sure, but it can still be done!
This is awesome! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
I am a Filipino teaching English Language Arts in an international school here in Bangkok. Your videos are really helpful! Kudos!

Is there a way to do this digitally? My goal is to make shared digital data folders for each of my students that include their larger written assignments and corresponding feedback so that they can see areas of strength/weakness in their writing.
Hey there! You can comment and grade directly on the Google doc.
