  That's a great video you've filmed here in a great location. Your Boomerang has got some good speed too. And it's great to see a custom paint job. I've always done box art on Tamiya cars and sometimes I wish I had gone custom , usually after seeing someone that's been really creative and designed their own paint scheme. Oh well at least I could try buying a new bodyshell or maybe buying some Tamiya lexan cleaner and starting again. I don't know why I can't think up my own design. I probably need some inspiration from another hobby enthusiast. Anyhow I love your Boomerang and it's an AWESOME video 👍👌 you've got a subscription from me too 👍

  What kit is that? All those carbon fiber parts, those blue screws 😍 I wanna make my suspension on my tt02r like that 😭 where can I buy this??? I’m going broke lol bought a no prep drag car, two tt02’s lol the R & the basic tt02. Making one for drift & other for speed runs lol

  What are your recommendations for the hi caps on the fire dragon? I have them on my terra scorcher but ride height is about 30mm set up as per the instructions.

  Is It possible to buy the files for the 3Dprinted Parts? some other parts can also be printed for example the carbon bits on the TT-02 bulkheads. I know ..carbon is better but can also be an option for a much more budget-friendly Conversion.

  I saw that someone in the comments already asked you how much this build cost you and you replied that it was about 700 euros, minus electronics. All I can see that is left from the TT-O2 Is the chassis and maybe one of the diffs. Is it worth all that money and effort to get the parts? Or is it better to buy a proper Kit?

  I think the full competition touring cars still have a small advantage regarding chassis flex adjustment. In the last event I raced with my recent version KRv5 against all kinds of X4, A800R, ARC and Mugen and had the fastest car on the track. Especially mid corner speed was sensational. So right now the performance is very good. Regarding the parts: Tub and drivetrain are TT-02 SRX. I use my own spool because it is tougher, but my customers use the XV02 spool.

  Yes, I do. At that time I just used a steel screw and grease. Now I recommend to use Tamiya 54232 thread forming tap with grease.

  Nice job! I flipped my arms for the longer wheelbase. Did you have to modify the front plate (the one with 4 screws) in order to eliminate binding. Thanks!

  Yes. The rear tower bends the plastic mount and itself. With these turnbuckles this won’t happen anymore.

  Hey, schönes Video. Ich hatte mir während der letzten 2-3 Jahre auch etwas zur Mission gemacht den Top Force / DF-01 haltbar / schnell auf der Kunstrasenstrecke zu machen. Bin im Endeffekt auch durch fast jede Komponente gegangen und habe mir überlegt wie man das haltbarer machen könnte, war auch sehr viel trail & error. Im Endeffekt bleiben die großen Schwachstellen (bei mir zumindest) die Getriebegehäuse. Das Plastik ist so weich und nicht für die Belastungen der Strecke gedacht.

  Danke dir! Ja, die blöde Abdeckung hinten ging mir auch schon kaputt. Ich habe jetzt Aluminiumteile um die zu verstärken. Hilft aber auch nicht um das Getriebehauptzahnrad zu retten. Ohne Slipper bekommt das zu starke Schläge und bricht dann die Zähne ab…

  @@KR1ae ich habe auch die Versteifungsteile von Custom RC Parts, auch den hinteren Diff-Deckel welcher die Dämpferbrücke zusätzlich stützt. Außerdem die Plastik Tourenwagen Zahnräder anstelle der Alu Zahnräder sowie Keramikkugeln und ein einteiliges Drucklager in den Diffs. Seitdem ist der Antriebsstrang echt standhaft (fahre 14x2T brushed). Manche haben ja noch speziell gefertigte Delrin Zahnräder für noch mehr (brushless) Power, aber das ist dann ja schon alles jenseits von Gut & Böse.

  Hi! If you want to go mainly for looks, then yes. For performance on a budget I would recommend the front spool insert, the oil shocks the drive shaft and the aluminum steering. For gearing possibilities if you want to use strong/brushless motors also the aluminum motor mount. If these parts come from Yeah Racing or Tamiya is your choice.

  I ran a DT-02 "desert gator" in a national race back in the days. I modded it by swaping the front suspension arms to increase the wheelbase. Also modified the steering mecanism to improve the cornering. With the right tires it was easy to drive. But i must recon my B4 felt sturdier...
