Hi and welcome to the channel of a happy crafter based in Lancashire in the UK. I adore messing about with almost any medium but of late it's mainly mixed media, textiles & threads and junk journalling that has preoccupied me. But even those have been occasional interspersing with jewellery making, paper mache and beading.
Here you will find videos showing my creative efforts and tutorials which I hope will speak to you and inspire your own creative juices ..... but be warned, crafting especially junk journalling is addictive. I was hooked from the minute I discovered junk journalling and the lovely YT community and not looked back.

I have enjoyed watching you videos. Such beautiful creations. You almost have me convinced to try these challenges, but I have no clue as to where to begin looking for images to use. Would you please share some of the places you find your gorgeous images? Thank you.
Hally, I can highly recommend giving these collages a go... they're such great fun and you'll be hooked...lol. Where do I get my images from? Absolutely everywhere: magazines, postcards, photographs, on the internet, books... basically anywhere I spot an image that I think might come up or I can use as a prompt. I've shown a couple of small plastic wallets ( A5 size) that I have and I just pop what I find in there. When I read the prompts each week that's the first place I'll rummage in and it's amazing how often I have something that will fit the bill. If that fails I'll check out my books or on the internet. Sorry not much of a help but that really is what I do.... hunt and hoard in the off chance I might be able to work it into an assignment. Hugs C xx

Definitely one of my favourites so far ... LOVE the colours and that fussy cut is amazing! Using the 3 of those stamps the way you did was very clever - you did a great job. (I recognise that stencil, lol)

Thanks for the lovely comment Pamela. If I can do MM's challenge anyone can. It's great fun both finding the prompt items to use and creating the actually collage using them. A friend gave me a 'gentle' nudge to give the challenge by treating me to one of MM's planners a couple of years ago and from there on in I was hooked doing these assignments each week. Working in the wrapper was a bit of a nightmare as I'd boxed myself into a corner by leaving it's placement so late on in the composition but in the end it works to make the girl stand out a bit better from the woodland background, I think. Mmmmmm, I wasn't too sure how this one was going to end up with the addition of that gold wrapper but in true Carol style you saved it by adding those extra flowers ... well done, I shouldn't have doubted you, lol. TFS.
Have to say I was with you on the doubt issue. Working in that wrapper was a nightmare and I'm not so sure it works in the end but at least it makes that gardening girl stand out from the woodland background better.
