That is where Comfort Hall you are doing a wonderful job unearthing our historic buildings and cemetery this one really need attention am wondering if Minister D McKenzie don't see the need to preserve our historic site so that more tourist would get curious and want to find their dead ancient relative it would be very good to hear the tourist testifying how they found their dead relative in a Cemetery buried from 1884

Hi Tania. This was fascinating. I have been there several times: my great-great-grandfather (Stephen Sharp Glave) and my great-grand-uncle (Stephen Woofe Glave) are buried in the duppy churchyard, with marked graves. Stephen Sharp Glave was a warden of the church until he died in 1873. I hope to visit Mile Gully again in late 2024 or early 2025. I have written an article about this church & the graves & my ancestors buried there, with photos from the churchyard, and we made a video as well. --Thomas Glave

As a fairly new resident to Balaclava St Elizabeth, I pass the delapidated train station frequently and is drawn by it's past history so I am very appreciative of your effort to educate us of these historical places in Jamaica. I am going to visit the site.

I was there with the British Army, we ran our boats out of the school. What a time we had and the Jamaicans were so nice in such a terrible time. The Lt in charge of us became the head of the British Army.
