Bike sounds brilliant mate ...roll on spring!. I've got the same model tbh .....keep toying with the idea of moving on to something more up to date ,but they're just so much fun and a bargain to buy ,cheapish to run ....and no debt !. What exhaust can you got fitted mate ?.

@05:05 that, "ooh there's something there" is actually sealant applied across the crankcase join.... leave as is, or if you do take it off then reapply with something similar.

Great video, mate. Seems like it's a fairly straight forward job. I've just got a 650 Bandit and I'm finding that sometimes the clutch is slipping at high revs under hard acceleration. Is that what you were getting too?
@georgeradley12999 ай бұрын
Yeah exactly the same but I’ve also found out under the chain/ side casing there is a clutch retention spring that will sit the clutch back in so if that’s snapped (like mine is) it can also add to the problem. They are only a couple of quid so worth a try

Hey great video. I'm currently doing much the same to my zip..I noticed the rear shock mount and wondered whats going on there? I see you are able to use a totally different shock,would you mind telling me what shock you are using and how you mounted it please...? Regards

Hi Pete, thank you 😊 so it’s a standard shock with a 75mm raiser. Just jacks it up more but to get it fitted you have to turn the shock 90 degrees. Hope this helps
