    Are you certain they are correct when saying your not hypermobile. I didn't think I was as the first rheumatologist said I wasn't hypermobile. Granted she looked away when I was doing the Beighton score and it was like she didn't want to see it. I told the first rheumatologist that my identical twin sister had been diagnosed with hEDS and she didn't believe me. So I printed out my sisters diagnosis letters and bought them to my me to appointment at the hypermobility clinic in London and was told I score 7/9 on the Beighton scale. So some doctors don't understand how to do this part of the criteria. Even I thought that I wasn't hypermobile, so you can be wrong about it too. Best wishes on your journey. Xxx

    Do you feel any difference between tubes? My daughter had a G, then it was switched to GJ, since that she is very irritable, has colics when has a BM. She has cerebral palsy and is not verbal. I have the feeling that is uncomfortable for her. One time she had an intussuception and was very painful.

  • @quirkhouse9818

    I don’t feel a difference with mine, other than some symptoms relief with using the J. But everyone is different, and a GJ might not be best for her! I would bring it up to her doctors and see what they think!

    @@quirkhouse9818 I'm sorry you haven't found what is wrong. I was just diagnosed last year but had problems all my life. I mentioned MCAS in another comment but mine presented purely GI up until 2 years ago. Sometimes it just takes time for the disease to advance enough to diagnose. A lot of the comments you have made align with MCAS though. Its often missed because doctors will only test for one mast cell disorder, mastocytosis, but MCAS is actually more common. I could be totally wrong and just projecting but honestly my MCAS would have taken my life if I wasn't able to intervene so sorry if this is annoying. You probably get stuff like this all the time.

    No, thanks so much for sharing!! It is encouraging (in a way) to hear stories like this, though I’m sorry you have to deal with this as well. The bulk of my symptoms stem from GI as well, and most of my fatigue is directly linked eating food, which is why my tube helps so much (at the time of this video, I was in somewhat of a remission). I have tried some treatment for mast cell, just Incase. But I either couldn’t tolerate it or it didn’t do anything to help. But it’s definitely not out of the question. 💛

    We linked the test that we took in the bio, but we usually prefer to take the test from this link: www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/dotest . It was too long to take for video purposes, but it may yield more accurate results! Sometimes, a test can mistype you if the questions are not extensive enough.

    Thank you for sharing your story! I have POTS and it's helpful to hear other peoples stories. Have you checked for food allergies? My cousin had sores in his throat and his stomach shut down and all the doctors couldn't find out what was wrong. He did a blood test for 200 foods and found out he is sensitive to dairy and eggs. Now he is totally healthy. I also did the same test and have 16 foods my body is sensitive to. I have been working with a nutritionist and it has made a huge difference for me. I hope things improve for you!

    Have you heard of gastroperesis? I saw on one of your other videos that you have pots and it isn’t unusual for people with dysautonomia/pots to also have gastroperesis. Ehlers danlos syndrome is usually the main condition that is thought to cause this group of comorbidities.

  • @quirkhouse9818
    @quirkhouse98184 жыл бұрын

    Yes, I actually have rapid emptying! I’ve had a large variety of GI testing done in the past, and nothing really led to an explanation that makes sense of my symptoms. And then for EDS, the reason I was originally diagnosed is because it helped link my pots and GI issues together. But since then, many doctors believe I don’t have it, because I am not hypermobile and do not dislocate/subluxate. It’s tough to know who to trust. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But for me right now, having a diagnosis of EDS or not wont change much of my current treatment. Thanks for sharing!

Eating/drinking “too much” at once causes a lot of nausea. I wish I could just drink it 😊 I’m just not able to drink enough of what I need without causing symptoms.
