  That piece on Tasha was absolutely horrific! It kept getting worse and worse. She got shamed and judged for everything and her parental figures just talk about rejecting and physically hurting her and yet *she's* the PITA?? 😔 I hope she's doing alright today!

  Liu Tingting is so incredible! Her leaps are stunning. And she was very influential in influencing beam routine construction during the 2017-20 Quad. Tim and Nastia were so rude for spending so much time harping on her dismount. Tingting had the highest E and D score in the final. Her skills on the beam are what drive up her D score. She was just using the code to her advantage.

  One thing I appreciate about Tim is he will always call out FIG for their rules changes and how strict they are. So many athletes this year deducted so harsh it’s insane

  8.7 execution for Paseka's Cheng and 8.933 for Olsen's! There ought to be somrhwere around 0.8 difference in their execution scores at least: 0.3 difference in pre flight and 0.3 difference in landing in addition to weaker leg form throughout!

  I'm a huge gymastics enthusiast, but was never a gymast so I dont know the details on a lot of stuff, so I'm asking the gymnastics experts out there. I always wondered why Elli Black wears the shoes/slippers on beam? Wouldn't it be much more advantageous to have bare feet so you can grab the beam with your toes if you need to? I feel like wearing something on your feet takes that away. Unless there is a benefit I am unaware of. So just asking the gymnastics experts out there!

  on 10/20/2023 Kara Eaker was forced to retire because of abuse at the hands of Tom Farden head coach of Utah Gymnastics. The abuse have left her broken to the point of suicide and self harm ideation. She is just one of many victims but the only Kara Eaker, world champion and olympic alternate but destroyed by a NCAA college program. Please share and repost.

  I think not letting the gymnasts have that 30 seconds to get the “feel” for that particular beam really could make a difference in the performance, like Nastia said , each beam is a bit different of a feel , Jmo

  I wish Tim would stop saying that Artur Dalaloyan "lost the gold for the team." They missed gold by 0.049. That's less than one tiny step. So if, say, Nikita hadn't gone out of bounds on his first tumbling pass, they would have won gold. It was a team effort that EARNED them a silver medal.
