Why don't you just make these in China?
Toyotas lane centering works really well, when it does. Hyundai lane centering doesn’t work really well but it’s usually always working even off the main road. I just ordered the comma 3x hoping it’ll engage better then the stock steering on the Tucson phev 😁
I hooked up my Tesla with this Comma AI thing, the two autopilots tried to compete with each other xD
I just ordered one, hope it works with Tucson phev 2022
bad people. dont trust them.
i bought the comma 3 cross country and had it for 13 months until it stopped working, stuck at bootup always which sucked bc I truly believed in these guys. Reached out to comma support and they declined to help regarding this software glitch I was dealing with. fast forward to today and its just a piece of plastic I show everyone that asks me if I recommend this product for them, I'm sure if they had good customer service and offered a reasonable solution i would have shared a better experience with you and my friends over the years, it ended up costing them customers that I personally stopped from purchasing these devices and they lost more revenue over the years instead of just offering to fix a faulty device. If you are reading this, expect your device to last 1 year max and if it has any issues after that all they will tell you to do is buy a new one. Maybe they have improved their customer service department since I stopped reaching out about this paperweight years ago but I am just going off my personal experience with their product and customer service. Great way to lose money long-term.
cannot locate a 'contact us' link on your site. wondering you could offer just the lane centering feature for a 2023 ford maverick and not adaptive cruise control. If so maybe it could be sold for less. Would like lane keep assist and would be ok without adaptive cruise control if such was an option to order to save on cost. thank you
Does this double as a dash cam? (I know silly question. Just wondering)
💗
Love my comma3. Really does change driving for the better!
Bet you are glad i recommended comma ai for the kia 😊
Do you have a solution for installing on a 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy?
Please have support for Chinese cars like Chery Omoda 5 since it is sold in many continents include in Australia
How much power yall pulling these days. does comma have solar on the roof. I love that you have a real kitchen prolly making meatballs for geo. Do yall have any room for a veggie garden? (maybe courtyard). I teach/manage a school garden in texas and makes for a great learning environment plus less expensive, better food. I would love to help in the journey and good local food/veg is necessary in my opinion to fuel great innovation and self-reliance. Hit me up and win.
is that George Hotz?
bravo absolutely love this!!
Nothing against comma. It is a general comment. Automated driving will not be popular until you can say you dont need to pay attention and companies behind these solutions to he actually responsible for the accidents
Is there any chance that 2023 Chevy Bolt euv with supercruise will ever be supported. By comma3x?
Make it work on BMW
I wish I hadn't missed the live
you wouldn't download a car
This is how you keep people up to date! No corporate lies, just facts and a real-time demo.
18:00 anybody saw George Just Chilling there
good video and camerawork
I can only imagine how much of an improvement you guys would bring to Cruise (robotaxi company). They could use some help lol.
A car API sounds interesting.
Love op but don’t understand why sdsu were taken out of the master.
Thank you guys for your work! I love my Comma and Openpilot! And it gets better with every update! I am definitely Driving Chill now!!
they removed NAV?
there is no support for Chinese cars specially for GWM Tank500😢😢😢
Up. Please support Chinese cars too. I wanted it so bad for my Chery Omoda 5 😢
Do you both train it on what to do as what not to do? For instance training it on video of people getting into accidents for it to avoid those situations, and balance that against what it wants to do.
Get a wooden gazebo lounging table area for the patio.
And more green!
Imagine the comma store for the comma bot
It would be nice if comma did not scold me when I look into a curve/turn.
reprogram it? or is that against the TOS?
@@premitive1 The core of the comma AI doesn't allow flexibility of the timer or active looking to keep the user safe (Like covering the cabin camera etc), so unsafe actions can flag your comma and yes you can have the comma banned for unsafe behaviors but will still work but they aren't liable etc. (The only thing that happens would be your comma no longer uploads data as behavior data so basically you won't contribute to the overall behavior data.)
Any plans on additional remote cameras like e.g. behind the rear window?
How are you getting on with roundabouts - we have loads of them in the UK, are they an issue as they are so rare in the US
They're actually not rare in the US anymore that's kind of a myth
@@SilentServiceCodeI live in the UK and drove in the US for a month. You guys have some roundabouts now yes, but they’re generally single lane and people use the wrong lane when they’re multi lane. 6+ lane roundabouts are common here
great can't hear anything
Buy order in place for Blackwell?
Could you guys invest in a mic or a better phone?
Any plans for additional cameras lime e.g. one at the rear car window?
Any plans for external cameras?
I have an MG4 - SAIC are not supported and the harness connections are GT25-16DS-HU/R (male) and Molex 5016462600 (female) - I don't think you have harnesses using those connectors? Love your product but I am not technical enough to onboard my car. It would be useful to have a simple interface of commands you collect from a car, then simply map them to a comma ai interface...one to one....if that's how it currently works - then I could connect the 3X, put the car on LKA and ACC and simply capture those codes - using the code capture software you already have, map them to 3x - and then run a standard version of openpilot. All the best - fantastic product!
Are you in the UK? I looked into open pilot for the MG4 recently and there was some progress. If it’s possible to do, I can help you get it setup and do soldering if needed.
I missed this live 😔So exciting!
Has it ended
secret good? Tf does that even mean?
yassine goat
Amazing lads. Ordered one.
I am surprised that they go straight from pick-and-place to full assembly and stress testing without any testing in between. It's kind of weird. If you build all the way to stress testing and it fails, you would have spent, let's say, 5 hours on a unit that could have been caught if you had done board-level testing. If you are relying solely on the AOI to catch any misplaced components, that's why you aren't doing tests until it's fully assembled. I would say that BGAs are a nightmare, especially for an in-house company without a x-ray machine. Also, I hope you are taking into account the humidity-sensitive components since you are in San Diego.
As a long time SW developer, this was the best talk I've seen on how to add support for new vehicles. All of it made sense. Thanks.
Have you considered using training farms to train your robot (ie. thousands of virtual robots all trying to navigate different environments and accumulating training prowess) ?
