  The schools in David are good. Depends on what part also. Ceasar Chavez Elementary is 9/10 and theres a couple more above average schools there as well. Feel free to reach out directly and I can tell you more about the areas and schools

  I live here in the Bay Area and like this area of the foothills, is there an issue with getting fire insurance with these homes? Although I plan on just buying the house outright, with the equity I have in my current home. A nice segway to Lake Tahoe!!

  Our clients have not had issue with insurance in this area. When you get more up the hill, insurance gets more costly due to the trees and risk of fire.

  Do you guys think resale value on these new homes will be high given that there’s so many homes being built? I’m concerned if buying a home here it won’t appreciate that much in value and be on the market for a long time

  It depends on when you plan to sell. the appreciation is still going up in this area. We have resale homes if priced correctly and proper marketing are still selling even in areas where there are new construction

  I was born and raised here, 31 years and counting. I will live here forever and I will die here. Livermore and the Tri-Valley is my favorite place in the world and I would not want to live anywhere else. Most beautiful spot on earth in my opinion.

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news but LLNL nuclear lab has been leaking radioactive iodine for years...but recently a few months ago there was a release that prompted the DOE place the lab under federal oversight...I understand they dont want panic and oncology takes many years to develop..But I first read about it in a small local newspaper that they drop free in your mailbox, (was it Livermore Independant or something similar, which we always throw away), so, I confirmed it with a person I can trust who works for the lab...who said there were employees who would go home after work wearing contaminated clothing...somehow, I am not surprised at all, it is just a part of the overall mess...I am so moving out, not only of Livermore but out of California, period...

  No one has the crystal balls but telling people to buy now is like telling people to jump off the cliff. I can see people are doing ok if they bought back in around 2012. Prices are too high in the Sac region and I honestly dont see the local economy can sustain those payments. @ 5.75% ( at time writing this 1-23-24 with buy downs), 20% down on a 650k homes you looking at $4K-5K a month. The Sac market has been partly fueled by the Bay Area home buyers but even that is slowing down. I suggest people do their research before you buy. We were looking to buy our third decided to hold out for now. Don't say I didn't warn ya.

  Thanks for your comment. Sacramento is one of the top 10 places to move in the country and is growing rapidly. We have people moving here not just from the Bay Area but again people from all over the country. January is usually a slow season in Real Estate but it has been extremely busy with people out buying homes. We have also talked to clients who relocate here from somewhere else saying that they had an increase in pay by moving here and/or even a higher pay than Orange County. We are just sharing what we see being that we are out there with clients everyday and giving people information on what we are experiencing so they can make their own decisions.
