Regarding O-line. Something to think about is that the general rule of thumb is that run blocking is easier than pass blocking. That could explain loading up the RB room.

I’m high and spitballing, but a Big 4 idea no school would ever agree to but would be cool: UCF, FSU, Florida, and Miami all have 3 OOC games a season. Once every 4 season, they exclusively play each other. Call it like… The Florida Classic. Every 4 theoretically means a new recruit cycle each game and it doesn’t clog up other OOCs. It incentivizes local recruits to stay in state for the chance of a FL Classic game in college. Genius idea. Thank me when it happens (it’ll never happen). Also, my addition would be either Joe Burnett, Terrence Plumber, Shaquem, or honestly… Kevin smith so we have a four headed monster between him, RJ, KJ, and Johnny

No black jerseys on daytime home games. I’ll die on the hill that it was a big part of the Baylor meltdown. Jaguars thought it would be a cool look a few years ago with disastrous results. The Dolphins also consider white day jerseys part of their home field advantage.

I met a boomer Texas fan this year who said he was very impressed with what UCF is doing, and I was surprised to hear this type of old school, kind of 'mainstream' college fan say that. So I think the respect is building but all it takes is some big wins this year. Florida, Colorado, Utah, Arizona.. some big opportunities this year and if we do it then our buzz is back.

Possible weird take, I think Gus is looking to retire soon. He has a qb reminiscent of one of the greatest to ever play in his system, he’s bringing back a dc that he had success with, he’s taking over play calling a year after saying he had too much to handle along with play calling. Seeing saban retire and even younger coaches leaving due to the landscape of cfb maybe it’s weighing on him and he’s trying for a last big push in terms of success. A few years ago didn’t he come out noting the importance of spending time with his family? Maybe these things are starting to culminate prompting these changes. Maybe I’m just yapping tho🤷🏽♂️

I do think there are some bad seats in the bounce house, I went to one where the chain link fence on the stairs covered a good chunk of the field in front of me. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't very good either.

The George O'leary era UCF uniforms were the best. They exemplified UCF. ...Nowadays, if you ask anyone under the age of 40 what color uniforms they like, and they always say "black, black, white, black, black, white, black, black, black". Pure teeny-bopper thinking. ....Mr. Plant built railroads into Florida on the west coast which lead to the development of Tampa and other cities. Henry Flagler (Flagler College) did the same for the east coast of Florida.

What are the chances that UCF Football purposely responded to the TikTok video knowing it wasn’t a huge deal and to have it go viral for the publicity + added viewership for the bowl game? Also, since it wasn’t bad and it’s being made fun of or a meme, means that it’s light enough for people to make fun so we’re getting probably millions of impressions and now some people who never heard of UCF may have looked it up, heard about our National Championship and all the other positive things. (But in general…not ideal to have something seen in negative light go viral)

Tech fan here. Y’all are a dangerous team and should handle Houston and whoever you play in a bowl. Big 12 is a LOT of one score games. Last year we were one play to win one game away from Big 12 championship birth. Tech has lost a few one score games and now won 3. It’s crazy how much parody is in the league. Glad UCF is apart of it you guys have good fans that care! See you next round and good luck rest of season.
