Looks good, except for the constant bouncing in each step. If they can fix that up I’ll play day one
The combat for me is actually the worst part about Bannerlord hands down. It bores me to death! Mordhau and Chivalry are much more fun. If only this game had that combat, it would be something special. I always get bored of the combat before I even finish a campaign and have to put the game down again.
But how do you know how many granary or storehouse workers you need at any given time?
For a person who loves hema, knight fights, and is a blacksmith I LOVE THIS i cant wait!
have lots and lots of food and fuel, farm a lot in at the start, the berry farm is very strong
Just got this game and its got me hooked now nice guide I have been struggling a bit with money got 2 caravans and about 100 troops of mixed tier 4-5. Just been trading, doing arenas and killing bandits to cover the difference I guess I need to pick a side to join to make better money then.
Fabricate hooks and golden obligation is a gold mine. Leave your spy master finding secrets unless there is a scheme against an important person in your realm. They have the chance to fabricate hooks on court physicians, bishops, etc. great for murder schemes or demanding payment
I wish the sub-faction units had a buff that would make them on par with their larger faction counterparts. Would make it more worth while to recruit them. Puppeteers are bad but for some reason they have not died in like 10+ battles in my campaign even when they should have.
Nice job
sooooooo stoked for the second one coming out the trailers look amazing.
This shit looks awesome. The physics makes it feel very real
Good decision, nice tactic, and put the terrain to good use too. And the cherry on top, you almost singlehandedly took out 10% of their number by yourself 😂 Nicely done sir
Another easy way to level stealth without risk is pickpocketing wayfarers and then shoking them out. Mayority of the time you get xp without any drawback or risk of getting caught
Will this still be effective with Realistic battle mod enabled?
Do you have to take workers out of the farmhouses, why not just pause them? Do you let the crops grow over winter?
Pause would be easier. Yeah they grow over winter
Follow seems to be the god command for horse archers, but that obviously leaves the rest to you.
Do you think it will also be released for ps5?
One doubt, you have been building simple houses. Would be better if you build them double, so this way, you need half of resources?
Take field combat from mount and blade and this games city building and you would have the perfect combo.
Just got into bannerlord. This guide is a must for new players. Great stuff
So with assinging 2x oxen to a farm house, couldn't you just upgrade one hitching post to a stable, assign the extra ox to see which one it is, then delete it's hitching post so that it will relocate to the open space in the stable?
Really good information and very informative. I can’t find anybody who makes content as good as yours with manor lord. I never would have thought to spread out my town like that!
courier system is a great idea
Just use hannibals tactic. It works all the time.
The markets should be off by default for all but the storehouse and granary. Any setting to change this or do we have to click this every time?
I thnk the archers shoot when you're up high. and also above their teammates.
Thanks for the data, really amazing work, nest step is to build your manor lord farming calculator 😉
Great videos thank you! Good job explaining everything! I watched all of your long streams to learn faster what comes first, second, etc 🙏🏼😇 Looking forward to watch more!
I've just ditched both Chivalry 2 and Mordhau because I absolutely hate the unrealistic swordfighting, hope this game will end up good.
Battania doesn’t seem to build catapults or trebuchets so they get owned in seiges. It’s not that they are on defense, it’s that they get captured trying to go on offense !
I just bought it. Ive been playing rise of castles on my phone for a while now and i wanted a pc game like it. I hope the developer takes his millions he made and hires some people to finish his ideas. Adds DLC im all for micro transactions when its going to a developer doing stuff that will help the communit and game grow.
great vid, much better than others to view as a beginner
Not sure you learned much in all those hours if you’re trying to grow wheat with those yields son
You're comparing apples to oranges. The current patch I would agree, but previous patch you only needed 30 fertility to get a max yield. Now fertility actually matters for the yield.
@@Strat-Guides ya it’s still in development…
@captaincrunch6500 correct, so I'm not sure why the comment? You're late bro lol it's several patches ago
@@Strat-Guides idk just talkin smack about yo farm yields son
my yields are rockin right now and I have so much trade coming in got 99 problems but my yields aren't one, skro
Ultimate Karen Demands To See Opposing Army's Manager, Beheads Him In Ritual Execution
You picked my home... Also Ennis is pronounced how it looks - Eh nis
This game reminds me of stronghold crusader
Holy shi- 7 hours, i'm getting my notepad and my popcorn ready.
Lol nice!
I've claimed 2 regions in addition to my starting region and I've no idea how to get started in them. I thought a new family would start there once claimed and it's been a month and no progress
You have to build a new camp in each region. It's under the admin building tab where the manor house is and it will cost you at least 250 personal treasury to start
@@Strat-Guides thanks so much dude, much appreciated. I was contemplating starting over again thinking it was a bug. Great video, lots of great tips throughout the video

I'm pretty sure malt houses produce malt from barley. Breweries produce ale from malt, so building a load of malt houses isn't going to produce any ale.
What if, you just have 300 fully stacked units vs the entire persian army and the time is set to 360bc
As a Slav, tacticians scare me, I'll stick to wave tactics.
Thanks for the long vid strat! Ngl, not much to do as of now until they add some new game changing mech.. disease/disaster or smtg. Looking forward until next lets play.
Great vid as always Strat! A question for you (and also viewers), I've recently got back in to playing and I've noticed when I am defending a town/castle, the enemy doesn't initiate the siege... ever. Even when we are starving and they have unbelievable odds, they just sit there. I'm not using any mods so it's definitely a vanilla issue. What's your work around for this? Only way I got them to attack was breaking out and in again but I lost about 100 troops doing it! If anyone has any QOL fixed/mod recommendations also, that would be great.
Would make more sense to display the tactics by not personally participating in the melee. After all, the AI seems to really suck, but as long as it's bad AI vs. bad AI it should be okay. I feel like the better move would have been to back the shield wall a little away from the base of that starting hill. Archers being on active fire would have helped. But the men climbing and then sliding down would have been unable to form their own shield wall on the uneven terrain, basically sliding down onto spears below, and winded from the earlier climb up. And as their bodies pile up at the base of the hill in front of your shield wall, the oncoming enemy has to slip and slide clambering over them. And escape, once atop the crest, is basically impossible because they're climbing back up a slope getting stabbed and shot in the back and blocked by oncoming rear ranks of their own forces. One downside is that the enemy in rear ranks doesn't see the absolute bloodbath so they don't know to flee. Another is that the enemy crashing down on your shield wall have momentum. I don't think those outweigh the huge advantages of the position. Realistically, though, the enemy would have been ordered to go around the hill and flank from your left where the enemy cav kept coming up that gulley. And also cav wouldn't be blithely racing up and down a 45-degree slope on a churned-up battlefield like that! Anyway, the door swing flank at the midpoint was risky because then you ended up getting encircled by superior oncoming numbers. Which should have quickly crushed the men in the flanking swing. But again you went in and killed like 30 bad-AI dudes to help.
BIG TIP you can farm all 3 crops on a field without losing yield. Fallow years arent necessary on high fertility regions ***Hi Strat, thanks for all the technical videos has really helped me a lot. ***
The problem with getting all 3 is that they will clog up my storehouses and granary, which would be a disaster. I was already selling too many things that adding more would have actually lost money (cheaper items will usually get sold first instead of the more expensive ones). Trade really needs some help and I'm hoping to work on that with the dev this month :D
@Strat-Guides I just make a ton of clothes and sell that I have 8 trading posts with 4 horses each and they keep up. At large scale the game goes haywire. In my 2500 pop game split over 3 regions with 1600 as my main I need 8 hunting camps that can't even hunt a normal deer node. Foragers collapse as well. I don't know if this was rebalanced in the new patch but it's totally inefficient. Worst thing is At 1000 pop I had 2 bakeries with 4 families and ended up with 8000 bread and had to use tithe. At 1600 pop I have 9 bakeries and can't feed my people. Granaries and storehouses need a rework at large scale you end up with tons of empty stalls as they rarely stock 50 of 1 item in stall. They should prefer CLOSEST market location first so you can set up stalls next to bakeries and foragers. Would be great to set up a country granary with all veg and apples. Instead the people end up walking the entire map to collect and item which immediately gets sold again
After the horror that was Taleworlds math, this game seems blessedly straightforward
How I missed this video I can't guess. I was meaning to ask you if you had seen Kinstrife. LOL I see that you HAVE.
Tier 4 and 5 empire infantry not using throwing weapons is a massive disadvantage.
Archers are op as f now I had 72 fully upgraded retinue men get smoked by 36 archers while my retinue fought against 72 spear and sword men. There's just no way archers should do even 1/10 that amount of damage to plate armor
They aren't. Spearmen are still way more op.
