    Worker, a queen would have larger gaster and darker gaster, and a ˢˡⁱᵍʰᵗˡʸ thicker thorax, but it’s hard because they look so close to eachother

    Yea Tarsata are very annoying, I might actually have one with larvae, haven’t checked her in a long time and she is taking in protein, well will have to to wait and see

    The queens thorax will be about level with its head, it will also have like a circular part on its thorax

    Mollossus is usually found in the more Western parts, we got so lucky to get her, there were hundreds of queens flying that night hences the Crematogaster queen xD

    Yea it’s quite hard to tell them apart, we had our queen for like 3 days before finally confirming it was a queen lol

    You want to try and search in more wet forest that have lots of ferns and the soil is rich in detritus and is quite moist but they are insanely rare

    I caught a Pheidole ant straight after I saw it mate it immoderately started shedding its wings and started laying

    Did you find them in the morning or 8:30 at night? I have wild M. brevinoda at my place and I see the workers out hunting at night. I have just made a video of this.

    I caught 4 garden ant queens and their in the same colony. I have a rainbow ant with brood and an unknown species to m(Maybe Phiedole)

    Not really, our lizards cage has a lot of cockroaches behind it so it’s quite easy to get the feeders but yes we do use a lot lol
