What part of PR is this?
Turd pollock 😅 as we'd call them as kids
I’m going there for the first time this summer. What pole/spin we combo should I get?
Nice video
Might as well not put the little ones back in there not going to make it two hundred yards before they are eating
Cool video ! Thanks for sharing. Can I ask where are the piers that you were fishing from in the second half of the video ?
WOW 😀
Hey bud what beach are you fishing at I am heading to PR for the first time next month but cannot afford a charter
I have honestly no idea since it was so long ago but I believe it was around San Juan and I also believe all the beaches are public or something so you can walk around. It was definitely on the north shore.
Súper 👍🇵🇷 buena pesca
Phenomenal! Good envy!
any tips for fishing from the Steamboat steel piers, the docks near Shepard Park with my grandson ? live bait or lures and depth ? thanx
For bass and pike and other game fish I would keep it simple and slip float a shiner set just above the bottom or weeds if they’re there. Try aim for right against docks or boats and any other structures there. I’m always a big fan of the old school slug-go’s anywhere from shore. One of my favorites for kids to throw if not live bait are the Gary Yamamoto 3” watermelon green senko’s Carolina or Texas rigged, if it’s less than 10’ feet deep no weight. That slow fluttering fall is deadly. To just catch anything half a night crawler with just enough weight to cast always gets it done, slow retrieve or a slow jig is best apose to just letting it sit there. If he’s young a bobber will be fine but move it a little bit every so often to grab some attention. I hope this helps and best of luck out there!
thank u for releasing the fish !
Thank you, most people didn’t like that part of it lol. It there for them to catch now so I don’t know what the problem was
That's a really good looking set. The more natural looking, the better they work👍
you risk the fishes life just for sport??for gods sake eat him
What size line/hook on that first one. Nice fishing man
Where did u go to go there cause I don’t know where to kyack at the pier
NEW GENERATION OF PUERTORICANS ...ENGLISH ONLY DONT SPEAK SPANISH...JAJAJA
cool video... ill be going there in november.. what bait were you using and what luer/bait was working the best?
I stopped watching bcuz I couldn't stand listening to the drag anymore. That's why you lost your line haha
Man tighten that drag dude!
Great way to celebrate AcDia! Great video, happy to sub.
There's no parking there. You have to risk getting ticketed
First fish was a fallfish. A type of chub sure but not a river chub (i.e. brook chub).
That's a nice range
Nice Mutton snapper
How far out do u go to cast? I tried this and waved and current jsut would bring my bait in too shallow. And what weight?
Less than 5 oz was useless with the current, caught fish and sharks without getting my feet wet and with wading out, didn’t seem to matter, but at low tide or even high tide I could wade out quite a ways before it was too deep to cast and then I usually got hit on the walk back. Don’t let your bait touch the water on the walk out!
I thought it was kinda weird here how everything was posted no fishing / hunting but people fish. I know everyone says in the water is public property but fish and wildlife told me the riverbanks and forward are pretty much off limits unless you float in a kayak or boat. Confusing to say the least bc I didn't wanna Wade through people's yards back there.
There is no sharks i puerto rican beaches just saying
Nice catch. What area of PR is this?
This video inspired me to start up my own Fishing Channel based in San Juan Puerto Rico. I think I'm holding the record now on the biggest Mutton Snappers from shore. @Healy Outdoors next time you're in Puerto Rico let's do a collab 💪🏾
what do you use for bait???
@@AcogNeato 😬same thing @Healy Outdoors is using. Check my channel
Awesome!
What part of Puerto Rico was this?
OMG... Was just browsing fishing videos and just happened upon this one! I've fished that same boat launch knee-deep! Plenty of fish in there. I'm from South Glens Falls, just south of Lake George.
The camera filming needs improvement.
What part of Myrtle is this? I fish the ocean forest section when we go, never caught anything quite that big though lol
Idk where he’s at but at murrels inlet I caught a 4ft sandbar shark and have seen several bull sharks if your interested in catching sharks it’s also away from tourists and in Georgetown county so it’s legal there
@@cadeorama6415 cool cool. I’ll have to check it out. We fish some inlets too in NC but haven’t done much on the SC side
Hi. You look like you are on a small river. And what is the place where you were submerged in the water?
So cute
Hi
Stringer full of pollock. We get it.
That’s rare in Acadia
better you say in description what state u are.
where can you park near the dam?
Just landed a 41 inch and 32 lb striped bass from the pier on 4/29. Its much better fishing outside the channel in the main river along the grassline on high tide. Good Luck Bro.
i've caught lakers from shore there 8 foot rod 6 to 8lb test one ounce spoons.
Nice footage
Headed there saturday. We will see if I can hook up with a laker.
Hey, does blue lake have Lakers as well? Or just Sterling lake? Do you know if there is a parking spot for a car somewhere on the north shore of sterling lake or just the visitor center? Thank you!
No Lakers in Blue lake, not deep enough.
What lake are you fishing here mate?
Great vid! What size rod were you using? Also, would love your feedback on my channel, when you get a chance ☺️
Tell those kids to stfu
Thanks for posting where did u launch
Robbin u allowed to keep the fish from here?
