I agree with the fact that social media makes us more isolated, but I don't agree with many opinions in the video. Everyone doesn't have the same taste in music, games or hobbies. They are as unique as any of us. Also if you only listen, the talker gets exhausted or doesn't know if they vibe with you. And more important, if you look for genuine friendships you just gotta act genuine. Don't hang with people you don't vibe and if you show your true self, you will find people who accept you. Its hard cutting off forced relationships, but at last is better to be alone than with people you don't connect. And I think its better to understand oneself before trying to find relationships to fill that whole. Thanks if you read this long comment

Being a listener doesn’t mean you don’t also engage in conversation. It just means actually listening to them and making them feel heard. Most of us actually do share the same hobbies and taste. You aren’t the only fan of a certain music genre there are also a lot of other people that listen to it as well no matter how niche it is. Also I agree you shouldn’t try to be friends with everyone. Do we *need* companionship? I dont have any trauma related to friends or anything. But, ive never had the desire for people either. I prefer being alone in nature, than with people. Having people around is cool, but not necessary. In the same way that alchohol is fun, but not necessary.
