It’s so difficult to hear you when the mixer is running. I’m wondering if you moved to your right and turned your camera a bit to your right if we could better hear you? I’m very interested in what you have to say! 🙏🏻🦋🙏🏻
What are the measurements? 2 cups vinegar and two cups sugar each time you add to it?
Click on “printable recipe” in the video description. Then click on “print recipe” in red. It will take you to the printable version, which has all the measurements. You can even adjust the measurements to match how many lbs of cucumbers you have.
Great video and great demonstration
the absolute best recipe ever! So easy too! Thank you!
Do you parboiled at all?
Maybe I missed it but how much vinegar, sugar, turmeric and pickling spices at the beginning?

Too much talking
How many times (batches) can you use the bones for?
In my area, brisket is $9/lb
I have a constant craving for sweet pickles and have wondered what it would take... I watched this whole video and it is definitely do-able! Many Thanks.
Is the sweetener and the oil mandatory ?
I've confused myself. The video says to put boiling water over the cucumbers twice on day 1 and then again on the morning of day two. However, the instructions say to start day one in the afternoon, pour boiled water and leave overnight, then pour more boiling water in the morning on day two. So, am I pouring boiling water twice or three times before I start adding salt and other ingredients? I'm concerned that they'll get mushy if I put them in boiling water too many times! 😂 Thanks for the video, though. It definitely made this process seem a lot less daunting. Yesterday, I told my husband I was in over my head. Now i feel more confident and excited. Well, except for the boiling water bit! 😉
Can I use a 5 gallon bucket and do this with duck eggs as well?
When I make cranberry juice, I like to put a slice of orange in the bottom of the jar first.
How do u make the maple syrup mixture
When you tell people how to make something tell them how much ingredients to add, thank you for the information but it didn’t do me any good to watch this.
The ingredients are in her blog post in the description! The video just helps lay out the full process.
Click on ‘printed recipe’ in the video description, and then choose ‘print recipe’ in red. It will take you to the measurements. You can even adjust quantities there.
Me who doesn’t have yoghurt either 😭
Wait, you don’t need any spices or seasonings? That’s so simply , thanks for the info. My son will love to do this.
Can this be done with slices of mango?
Thanks so much for doing all the work to figure this out! I want to use freshly ground wheat and my first choice is einkorn. I thought I was going to have to choose, but I'm so happy that with your advice I can have it just the way I like!
I am going to try this. It will be my first time canning potatoes. Thanks for your help. 😁🤗
I’ll be starting on day3 tomorrow. You didn’t say how much of each ingredient you used to start juice

I’m not a fan of gherkins, prefering dill. But I decided to grow some and I used your recipe to make a batch for my husband. They are delicious! He loves them. I’m making another batch when I get more pickle cucumbers.
I love this book
Great video! I just did a taste test on my water glassed eggs, and they are great! So I washed all the eggs in the 1/2 gallon jar. Do I refrigerate them now, or can I leave them out on the counter?
Great vid TY. I do pepper my taters because I love pepper and I want it to be in my jars when I can. I use 1 pt and 1/2 . Because I have many of those. I live alone so I don’t need a lot. So some pints and some 1 1/2 pints wil do. Do I process as if guards ?
That lime water can be used in the garden! You can water Tomatoes with it, it can help prevent Blossom End Rot.
I can't leave my stove on for 12-24 hrs... I wouldn't sleep.... 👀👀👀
Get a slow cooker.
@@BWalker-yg9en I do... I actually have 2 slow cookers... Can a slow cooker be on beyond 8 hrs? I have no clue! 👀👀
@@jart982 I mean mine stays on until I turn it off. It only has high, low, and off. I forgot you could also use a pressure cooker that would probably get the job done in a couple hours vs 24-48.
Ok ✔️I wish I saw video before I planted, I peeled the potatoes 🥔 and did the spuds, they are growing nicely,I’ll wait and see how my harvest is this time 🫣
HELP! I must have missed something. I did the 500g of flour and followed the measurements/temp for everything else, but my dough was way more wet than what the video shows. Should I have added more flour, and if so, how much? Thank you in advance!
so excited to do this and have GHERKINS! I don't care for bread and butters, looked for an old fashioned gherkin recipe and appreciate this concise report. TFS!
Why are you not putting the jars that have room temperature water in, into room temperature water bath?
This has been my favorite canning video. ❤ This is new for me and loved how you shared what the pressure canner sounds like. As well as how you did canned back to back. 😊 Thank you for sharing ...canner newbie.
Why is there no sound? 😕
What a great tutorial on sweet gerkins! I typically do bread and butter pickles ! I’m definitely going to put this in my canning rotation! New subscriber today! Thank you!
This is a cucumber jam..soo much sugar incredible..I bet you have diabetes …
Hello Miss Victoria! I wanted to make sure you advise new canners not to "COOL" their jars, made with their precious time and labor of love "in drafts*, such as from a ceiling fan. I've lost several jars of my hard work, by doing this. The jars cool too quickly; the faster temperature drop of jars is the culprit. NOT trying to tell you your business, I apologize if I've overstepped.
Hello from a grown and bred Texas old lady😊. Now I'm transplanted to NW Oklahoma...so different bc it's so desert like Anyway. I have and still use a Presto 22-quart canner I bought in *1980*. I HAVE BABIED and protected through numerous moves. Four kids and Hub's to feed! My methods are slightly different bc of the brand and "shaking" weight. Large pressure gauge on top, oiled gaskets regularly and I buy new as, needed. THANK YOU immensely for helping younger women learn to safely prepare food and pressure! You rock! Blessings from Tori (Victoria) in NW Oklahoma 😇
In the recipe section the baking is given as 375 degrees for 35-40 min, but in the "How to make..." section it is given as 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Which one should I follow. Also, when you suggest 450g of the whole wheat Einkorn, you add 50g AP to it. Is the 50g of AP white flour or 50g of AP Einkorn flour? I plan to make this in the sandwich bread plan from King Arthur... anything different that I should do? Thank You
❤❤❤
what greek yogurt do you use? is it regular pasturized from the store? or homemade greek yogurt?
Really needed to see an egg that is good and one that isn't.
What's the difference between growing the whole potato and cutting them? What changes? 🤔
Where is the results
You don’t give measurements of the brine like how much you use to make it
You can’t call it a recipe if you don’t give ingredients and amount don’t know how anyone can make these they sound good but this is frustrating
I just made this and I'm super impressed! I just made the best bread I've ever made in my life! Now I get to really test if Einkorn will work out with my Celiac. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
How cute 🌸💕
In Miami Florida? Humid and over 100 degrees Fahrenheit... Can i preserve eggs like that?🤔
As a boy scout, I cringe at her knife work
