I wish they had a CRNA on Oahu 😭😭 they barely got a DPT program recently. Hopefully they change that soon.
How did you support yourself financially while in CRNA program?
Also do you have your be super smart to succeed? Can someone who was average in nursing school succeed in CRNA school?
Is there anyone at the age of 40 or 50 pursing this?
As long as you are alive just do what ever it is you want. I'm 34 and starting the process of research to hopefully get in 2 years from now. Let's do it!

I am from Hawaii too! Currently just got accepted into nursing school in Arizona and I am looking into one day becoming a CRNA as well! I just wanted to say that I love and appreciate all the videos you’ve made about CRNA and for making the CRNA club for those like myself looking into a pivotal career path. Keep inspiring and I hope I get to work with you someday! 🤙🏽

Thank you for this, making a career transition at 31 to nursing and planning pre reqs and mapping out my ICU exp in the next 3ish years and eventually CRNA school! (Here's to coming back to this comment in 5 years saying I made it)
Doing my pre reqs at 26 🥰
Doing my pre reqs at 34
Im finishing up my cpa and moving into nursing
Wonderful; blessings and good luck for you
😂😂😂😂
Hey! Do you still live in Hawaii? If so, how is working as a CRNA there? I’ve been wanting to move there as well as work as a CRNA, so I was happy to find your channel lol. (+ Your name is so cute!)
thanks! It's good! Feel free to DM me on IG and we can chat more about it
Omg!! I want to work as a CRNA in Hawaii; that’s so cool.
Hello there! I’m from Nepal. I’m a BSN with 5+years of current bedside working but don’t have actual ICU experience though I have worked in different ICU departments as a float nurse due to short staffing. I have achieved 3.26 gpa in BSN degree. I’d like to know what others science gpa is required for CRNA school. Waiting for your reply.
Was your CRNA program maths and chemistry heavy?
yes, super!
@@thecrnaclub3478 Can you elaborate? In what subjects and what types/topics of math and chemistry?
How did you find these new grad icu programs?
One of the best CRNA application prep videos I seen. Currently going to be at 1 year in SICU and planning to get applications in by May 2025. Extremely helpful and definitely following! Thank you
ahhhh! You're so kind! Thank you!
Your videos are very educational
12+4+6+6+12+12=52 There are 52.15 weeks in a year. 52<52.15 That is less than a year
Quality content. Couldn’t agree more with proactivity. 👊🏽
Hello! Please reply me? I’m a BSN. Would you please explain me what is SCIENCE GPA and overall GPA for the requirements of CRNA?
What science GPA means?
Im binging on ure videos!!!!
LOVE IT! We've got some free resources on our website you might like too!
Well-said, currently looking to find some research project in the hospital!
amazing! check with the residents, and your nurse educator!
Love the content I’m just about a year into my nursing program trying to keep my GPA above a 3.7. I’ll be sure to check out your recourses in the summer. Love the videos!!!!!
incredible! The best thing you can do now is focus on getting As in those science classes. And if you have the chance to interact with CRNAs during clinicals, take advantage. =) Solidify that new grad ICU position as well. Keep up the hard work!
Thanks for the tips! I’m going to research the program faculty of the school I’m applying.
yes! Definitely do that. You'll want to look up their key leadership positions, any publications, any initiatives they're invovled in etc. If you can find a commonality in things you're passionate about, it's a great connection point.
I'm well over a year away from applying and have been polishing the CV in the meantime and adding to it as I go. This was helpful my friend and I appreciate it!
that's incredible! You are ON IT. I highly recommend people work on that resume a year in advance like you are. It'll come in handy. Keep it up! At the year+ mark there is still a good amount you can be doing. Make sure you are taking a look at what (if any) courses you need to retake etc. Good job!
I’ll need to retake all my sciences. What are graduate level curriculum?
Did you have a great GPA when you graduated from nursing school? I found out that mine would not be able to reach 4, and 3.5 probably is the best I would get when this semester ends. What’s your thoughts on a low GPA for people who later on want to go for CRNA~ ❤
3.5 is still good. Focus on getting good science grades!
Do you have CRNA schools in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 on that database list?
sure do! shop.thecrnaclub.com/products/crna-school-database
can student nurses attend these meetings?
yes, def. You should inquire about a discounted rate, or see if you can take advantage of the SRNA rate.
Thank you so much
Nice video
Are there tutors available if you’re not understanding a certain concept?
More videos please ❤ I love your videos
Great information
This channel is beyond underrated, you are amazing💙
You are so amazing I can’t wait to speak with you come summer time.
You are a gem truly a diamond, I am a first year nursing students thank you!!!
Thank you, great video
Currently still in nursing school and will be graduating soon. What is the best way to reach out to hospital to shadow CRNAs?
So glad I found your channel. You give out great advice
I will definitely be paying for your mentorship after I graduate nursing school. George Town is also the school I wanna go to for CRNA.
Thank you so so much for the encouragement! ❤
which science classes did you take? I am currently in an ABSN program, I am set to graduate in december 2024 and nursing school is really going well for me. I really want to go to CRNA school so I am gathering all of my info now!!
You need a BSN to apply for CRNA school.
This was very clear and straightforward. Thanks for the clarification!
oh my gosh, I'm so glad you liked it!!!
Please make a video about CRNA life in Hawaii
I'm changing careers and CRNA is at the top of the list. I am doing my shadow day next week BEFORE I go into nursing school.
How were you able to land a shadowing? I’m in nursing school right and have a year left I’ve been looking to get shadowing done too but idk where to look
Thank you so much for posting this. Ugh I relate so much and becoming a CRNA is my long term goal
one day at a time!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE AMAZING ENCOURAGEMENT! (:
I’m looking to go to nursing school into eventually try to become an NP or cRNA. I haven’t decided that track yet. I have called around the schools and yet they don’t necessarily require the Covid jab but when I ask him about clinicals, they can’t tell me which clinical sites will require it. Why is that? It makes no sense to meet at the school doesn’t, but the clinicals might.
Hi! I am a member of the AACN. Would you put this on your résume for school? And where would you
yup def put it on there and any other nursing organizations you're apart of like the ANA
