  DITTO - I have had a CZ 527 Hornet since 2001. The year of manufacture on the barrel and receiver is"00". In my 73 years a multitude of firearms have passed through my life but this little jewel of a rifle has a forever home. It's had a Leupold 6X fixed power scope on it rifle since day one and I find it to be a perfect match size wise, and adequate for use within my needs for field use. Think ground hog or coyote. Thanks for the well done video, live long and prosper.

  Thanks for the review. I just bought a Christensen Arms MPR in 6.5 Creedmoor and I love it! After removing 3 screws in the muzzle brake and adjusting the trigger to ~2 lbs. it shot ~ 1/2 inch groups at 100. But the real shocker was watching my friend shoot a ~ 5 inch group with the rifle at 600 yards in high wind. All his shots were at the same height, but the wind blew them left to right 5 inches. I was using 140 grain Hornady match ammo. I put an Arken EP5 5-25X56 FFP MIL VPR scope on it and ordered a silencer from Silencer Central. I hope to use it for hunting whitetail deer this fall down here in Alabama.

  There is no effective defensive round that won’t pass through at least 10 rounds of drywall (assuming it hits no studs, pipes, etc.). That being the case, no firearm is “safer” than another in terms of over penetration. The solution: situational awareness. Know your surroundings before you fire and never fire in the direction of your children, even if there’s a wall between you and them. Stay between them and the bad guy.

  I bought this exact revolver, and looking it over I noticed the finish on the inside front of the cylinder appeared to have rubbed off. Naturally I sent it back to S&W for refinishing. OK so after it returns every things looks good and so it’s off to the range. Only shot one box, 50 rounds, of 38s but once back home I noticed the finish on the inside front cylinder as well as on the frame just in front of the cylinder had burned off. Today I’ve sent it back to S&W yet AGAIN for the same issue. I’m very disappointed in their “quality control”, this is not something you’d expect from their Performance Center division.

  You do realize your first 100 drop test the first time you fired it after it shot in a burst mode for at least 2 rounds consecutively... can hear it clean as day.... you didn't pull the trigger that fast...
