So intrigued by these, but I can’t get past FWD, especially here in Chicago. RWD for the white stuff is always going to be more fun.

torque steer does not exist this car until you break 500hp, honda designed this car to not have any.

@@richardly438 no it’s not a joke it’s literally how the engineers designed the front suspension, look it up if you don’t believe me. In the video there is no torque steering either
@@chaz9675 FL5 is my daily. 2nd gear then floor it, wheel will hop a bit and pulling on one side. Average driver can’t recognize it.
Nice car but I would prefer all wheel drive. I like the prominent gear indicator, too bad you didn't get to 4th.

You could drive it on 1st. gear,it goes up to 60 haha. What are you doing, why are you driving it on second gear only,this is powerful engine ,it's gonna run just fine on fourth gear at 40 lol.

Just got ours back from repairs today. Someone reversed into it in traffic. So glad to have it back. Amazing car! Nothing like playing some good tunes and hitting the road in the 991.2. You have a great color

Love the color and the ownership review. Have our driven a 981 Cayman GTS? For a sub 30K mile example, the 981GTS Cayman trades around $73-$76K with a manual transmission, PASM, PTV, PSE, the GTS interior, and a little more power than the S. The 981GTS actually has an additional natural sound piping to channel more exhaust/engine sound into the Cabin. . For similar money, would you get the 981GTS Manual or the 911 991.2 Manual?
My opinion might not be popular but the Cayman GTS would be more of an ocassion to drive than a base careera, they are two different experiences but the GTS is morr alive I believe, that 4.0 on that butterfly, and a manual that is a daily track car material
I have a video of a 981 S manual on the channel. Great car. I do prefer rear engine to mid engine.

I sold the 993 Turbo when it went up in value for the Mclaren 570s which I later sold for this and the R8. The 993 got too valuable to drive so I cashed in.

They should have made this a Targa or full blown hardtop coupe
They did, its called the Mk5 Supra!
When they did that on the older one the weight distribution was super strange and it was several hundred pounds heavier.

The S2000 is much more raw. The Z4 is grown up, mature. Much better ride on the highway and way more powerful than an S2k. Z4 better for long trips or listening to music. S2k very focused, good for tight roads
The Z4M is the only S2K replacement IMO
Are you serious about this? Z4 is a modern heavy cruiser that pulls in a straight line. No where near the fun driving dynamics that the s2000 has 😅 You better look in the japanese market. Mazda mx5, toyota gr86… that actually still make fun lightweight cars.

@@Johnnygga Never owned one but i can image that the older models were actually fun and playfull. Nowadays its all about hp and 0-60mph numbers. Boring. I feel like an mx5 ND which i own is the closest to an s2000 in this modern “sh*tty” era of cars. I wished i had money 30 years ago in the best era 😂
Really love this car. That said I keep thinking about a 991.1 S for that NA sound and simplicity.
