  This is what’s wrong w building houses in America. Brief case builders. Remember when. A builder owned equipment like excavators, dozers etc. And built most of the house themselves.

  Is it Automatic Trans? My brother had the same issue and they couldn’t figure it out and it turned out. It was a programming parameters correction issue.

  yes it’s a automatic transmission but it’s a 2023 freightliner it should not be like this plus the check engine light on again!!! i reported it to freightliner so waiting to see what they are going to do. plus they repaired some programming issues and the some…

  @@ladywestcoastnthebox2160 I hope they get it fixed. My heart goes out to you. My brother lost everything lost his truck lost his business. Every time he took it in to the shop It was anywhere from $800-$3000 and he’d be off the road for 1 to 2 weeks, all they would do was scratch their heads and look around, not knowing what to do.

  Is the DEF fluid a problem for tractor trailers? My brother has had a number of diesels, granted most or all of his were high mileage, but the ones that require DEF fluid don't seem to have the longevity we're used to with diesels

  you are right had a issue with the DEF not heating on the same accord as the diesel fuel ⛽️ need to do some soon

  I think these companies are intentionally engineering these issues, problems, and flaws in the trucks. It's the only thing that makes sense. I swear it feels weekly that you have to pay out to fix or repair something. Let one new brand come to market that builds a solid solid truck that goes with no/minimal issues, and it would put the other brands out of business asap. It is a MEGA money scheme on "Truck Repair Costs"

  Do you rent or own your box truck? We seem to run the same areas. We run the West Coast and go to West Texas and back and forth. From Washington down to LA back and forth.

  This is one if my favorite places to stop when I make runs from California to Texas. If you are coming back on I-10 check out Chiricahua Apache Plaza 20885 Frontage Rd Exit 102 I-10, Deming, NM This place has huge parking spots and is clean and super friendly.

  The rates are but the insurance is very expensive for new authorities, AB 5, environmental bill and most broker want Carrie’s to have season authority for at least 3 months. I hope this answered your question. Be safe and hope to see out one day in the box trucking world 🌎.

  @@wiseinvestor7596 if you already have your authority and have a Semi Truck 🚛 you would do great doing Amazon loads. Check Load boards DAT they have average load analysis according to region. This could be helpful

Insurance is the most expensive for new carriers. As far as down payment it depends on your credit or business etc., so everyone is different. With good credit 0 down and challenge credit I have seen as much as 30% down. A deposited of 3k refundable at the time was asked and my order took about 8-9 months to receive my truck order because of the chip issue. Hope this answer your questions. Have a great day

  @@sundayamubioya6941 most places like progressive now want your authorizes to be 2yrs for a discount and best rates. New authorities in California for one truck could be as high as 2k. But if I was you I would go to a insurance broker give them the vin# License plate# plus make model and year the broker can give you an amount of how much insurance will be. Plus make sure the driving record is clean or insurance tend to be much much more expensive
