  The worst is, at intervals the junctioned magic gets blow away. I am not sure if it is Ultimecia doing it, or just the effect of Time Compression. Definitely use the phoenix down before they get Absorbed into Time. Confused the living crap out of me when I first saw it.

  The thing I love about this fight is how relentless and ruthless Birkin is, not only can he rush you down with a 4 hot combo, but he also makes up for his slower speed by literally hopping from the cart right down to you, what a jumpscare to finally make some distance from him, only for him to slam down right in front of you ready to attack! This legit feels like a horror movie scene being played out, that panic and andrenaline of dodging threse monsters is the best part of these bosses.

  they were send to factory (In RE3) to ambush US forces. you see the aftermath of the battle with both tyrants and soldiers are dead and where you battle nemesis final form.

  When I played the original, I remember being jumpscared when he busts through the wall at 1:50. But that was nothing compared to the absolutely horrific jumpscare i had like 5 minutes later at 3:06 because he busts through the wall AGAIN. Like I had just calmed my nerves. That was the peak of games keeping me on the edge. Love it looking back.

  The balcony encounter is for Claire only so yeah you did ALL encounters. And I guess the Ada cutscene missing was intentionnal because it's not a "fight" but only a cutscene.

  This Tyrant is more iconic than Nemesis. Sure Nemesis is very terrifying But I like Tyrant because it’s my first monster that won’t stop almost like a terminator! Hmm 🤨 still I wish Mr. X tyrant from the remake would have stayed down for much longer periods depending on the difficulty I hate that I have to keep fighting it. 😕

  I haven't played this game for over 20 years... But IIRC you can make this boss way easier just by shooting diagonally and up from below. you don't die for running into it. I might be misremembering from contra 3 where you could stationary diagonal shot easily anyway but I don't think so.

  I totally agree. I love the og, but the Remake REALLY did him correctly. Even now, years after the games been out and after dozens of playthroughs, I STILL get unnerved playing RE2 Remake when I'm going through the police station when Mr X is following
