  I have a '79 Epiphone Genesis bass (long-scale, set neck,THICK, two humbuckers, with single volume, tone, tree-way toggle and a factory split-coil toggle). I love that thing. My first bass was an Epiphone Genesis, but I sold it and, years ago found another one and bought it).

  Chester Hansen (featured on tons, plays in BADBADNOTGOOD) uses a 70s Grabber with thick flatwounds. It's pretty pretentious, as a random commenter/replier, to be like "dude, dude... you gotta check this guy out..."... But, honestly, if you haven't heard him/them already, then... dude, dude... you gotta check this guy out. _It might not even be your thing, musically,_ but, I can guarantee you'll appreciate/like/enjoy the playing and tone. (...and immediately search for tabs)

  @@riisk-on ele foi pensado pra ser utilizado em linha, com um pré-amp antes. Ligar em um cubo vai sobrepor o som das simulações de gabinetes (falantes) ao som do gabinete do seu cubo. Mas não vai queimar se você experimentar ligar num cubo. Se o resultado te agradar, vai em frente!

  Para usar esse pedal precisa-se de um outro simulador, ou dá para usar ele sozinho? Uso um cact (drive), um orgânico drive booster, um chorus e um delay x reverb

  Cara, eles atuam nas frequências mais baixas. Bandas Stoners, por exemplo, usam pedais (e amplificadores) de baixo numa boa. Eu uso e gosto. Abraço.

  Opa! Achei a distorção dele um pouco artificial demais pra usar direto. Não encaixa muito no som que eu gosto.. Mas tenho combinado ele com o Bass Big Muff para definir um pouco o som - quando eu preciso. Assim ele me ajuda bem. Abraço.
