@@LongShotMoto Nothing you can do, the FIM and AMA made the rule. IMHO, the rule does nothing to protect the riders and hurts the ability to bring new fans into the sport.

It's not from FIM or AMA. It's a helmet manufacturer rule that AMA and FIM are forced to uphold. Cameras void the safety rating of the helmet. There should be a waiver you can sign before a race to accept the risk.

That may have been the hottest race I have ever been in that was me at about 3:43 in the pink. I thought I would die before we got finished. Ended up 7th in senior C that was my 1st race back in 22 years maybe I'll d se you at some of the North Carolina rounds. Living up here in the mountains of North Carolina that was a shell shock when I got down there to that Heat and humidity

Omar Espinosa hi, this seat was the OEM but the original owner shaved the foam off to make it lower... I have then replaced it with an acerbis one “stock height” and better grip

Happy for you! some of the mods I on my bike I consider important are (don't have all the brands/names memorized): aluminum aftermarket skid plate, case savers for those tip-overs, radiator frame-guards, fan kit, acerbis hand-guards and seat, and Rekluse clutch.

david lockwood it’s an awesome bike! I will not replace it any time soon... still on stock suspension so that will be my next upgrade/dial-in before the next race season. If you are planning on getting one there are some things I would recommend: -rekluse auto clutch -case cover protection -skid plate aftermarket -radiator fan kit

@@LongShotMoto living in pa so the hs races here are alot of single track with some of them running onto mx tracks for part of the course. The tight stuff was my only real concern, as in if it was going to flame out alot of overheat easily

Well I should not blame it on the Rekluse after figuring out the real issue... I would highly recommend it, I really think its a plus for my bike and my type of riding at least!

Mount your camera on the other side of your helmet. That way you don’t need to wipe the lens with your throttle hand. I enjoy your video!

You are lucky to have found it that easily I guess..... Was going pretty good up until that point. What do you think of the virb camera? I'm thinking about trying something different and getting back into making some videos. I did a few years ago, but I never uploaded many of them. I want to give it another try. But I need a new computer and potentially a new camera. I have the Go Pro 3 black I think. It works ok, I'm just not happy with the go pro company, and I don't want to utilize anything of theirs if it's avoidable. Thanks for uploading I enjoyed watching it.

Yeah, i do like the Garmin camera features but i find that the video quality, stabilization or its wide angle mode is not as good as others... but yet my model may be too outdated, hopefully much better on the newer models

uh oh.. brushy gets slick when wet lol. wish I had came damnit, my VCHSS race got canceled right as I pulled in the gate. it looks like they used some different trails in this race than a couple months ago. I had a blast at the last brushy NCHSA race.

The course was great, good in and out of flowing double track and tight single track, one nice long single track climb that weaved in out of a couple different lines, and some pretty hairy descents utilizing alot of 11C. I have ridden Brushy many times and it really captured all the best aspects of the park. Only thing missing was a good technical rock face climb like some of the stuff on 9C but not everyone enjoys those like I do. Lost pressure in my rear brake on lap one which really made the downhills and hairpins slow for the rest of the race.
