Hey John, I just today purchased one of your mountain banjos from an antique store in Mesa Arizona. I had been searching for a “vintage” banjo in need of some love and after giving up the hunt and a last minute decision to spend the evening browsing a antique store instead of a music shop we found her tucked away in the corner of an otherwise dull vendors booth liked she’d been waiting for me this entire time. This will be my first restoration project and the intro to my own banjo building journey. If your website email is still active I’d love to reach out with some pictures and maybe get some tips and tricks from the craftsman himself. Looking forward to hearing from you, hope all is well.

I ended up here from your website which I found after reading extensively about you on Facebook as we are friends but I don’t think we’ve ever had a conversation. I should probably share this with you on FB because you may never see it here, but I am fascinated with both your banjos & your vibe… i’m gonna copy and paste this to your Facebook as I’d like for us to at least have a conversation. Oh & What the hell’s wrong with these 3000+ YT viewers? They’re awful stingy with their “likes” here as what’s NOT to like?! Cool Pickin, fun scritchin & Megan has great voice. Thanks for this groovy bit of nostalgia as well as something totally different… Kudos.
