  This is a Jiu Jitsu Seminar and women's open mat not a self defense seminar. We do separate events that are self defense seminars.

  About 90 percent of this video is BS!! This might work with two women working out but if it were a man attacking a lady this crap would never work.

  Women are able to use these techniques against men all the time. With training and active rolling. Strength definitely plays a factor but learning to use leverage and timing can help to defend in these scenarios. I always recommend that the ladies train regularly at a legit Jiu Jitsu gym to be able to use it effectively. Most women who train regularly roll in competitive matches with men all the time. A one day self defense course will not be enough.

  @@darkwolfmma484 rolling with men in a competition is nowhere near the same as self defense. BJJ IS NOT SELF DEFENSE!

  Stepping is everything. Power, rhythm, strategy,....without controlling distance you have a serious problem to solve.

  When I first got started , all I did was watch the upper body , but once I learned what I was doing I started watching the feet . If you are a beginner watching this , know that this IS the advanced stuff. Don't just blow through it wanting to get to the next thing . This is what you'll use for the rest of your life any time you fight . So stay on it and get it ingrained in your DNA . Get a mirror and camera and a spot at home and work on it every day . If you want to be great you have to be willing to be bored . Great video coach!

  I used there one week pass ...and let me tell you absolutely phenomenal people/instructors thoroughly enjoyed my time there ...had my money been right I definitely would have continued highly recommend can't say enough great things about the people and facility
