  they are completely different. BAO Bones is a plugin not a script with a much easier workflow and faster performance. why don't you try the free trial ?

  @@aescripts Good idea - I will give it a go. I have used DUIK before - not creating my own rigs - but animating pre-made ones. I know everyone says how great it is, and I'm sure it is - I just always found it kinda slow and cumbersome myself. BAO Bones does seem like a snappier, more streamlined alternative.

  James, this is ridiculously fast. Please do not follow the hype and presentation edicts of US marketing. You are Australian and selling your wares to the world, not just North America.

  A useful and ingeniously designed plugin. James, I would you encourage you to prepare your tutorials at the speed you feel most comfortable with, and which you believe slower viewers can best grasp information. Speedy tutorials are generally an attempt to hold the attention of restless viewers. However, regardless of what marketing managers may say I suggest viewers with a daily intake of frantic, kinetic content will be distracted, regardless of tutor's breathlessly fast or sensibly paced presentations.
