Through my videos, I share my knowledge and techniques on creating detailed props and cosplays of popular characters from movies, games, and horror franchises.
Using both FDM and resin 3D printers, I dive into the process of creating helmets, props, and cosplay accessories, covering every aspect from printing to sanding, painting, and finishing. My videos are packed with tips and tricks that I've picked up over time to help you create amazing 3D printed props and cosplays.
Whether you're new to 3D printing or an experienced maker, my channel has something for everyone.
So, if you're a fan of movies, games, and horror and want to create your own 3D printed props and cosplays, you're in the right place.

I know this vid is quite old now, but I wonder if you can help me. I want to disassemble my Art Asylum P1 phaser, but it just doesn’t want to come apart. I’ve removed the battery cover and undone the two philips screws on the underside, but the top and base don’t want to separate. can you give me any tips?
Nothing creepy about this boys. Who needs fresh air?
Purchase available?
They should just extend the printer and skip the lid as on the K2 now. Put the filament sensor inside like on the K1 or better, in the printerhead like on bambi printers so you don’t waste filament when empty the spool. ^^
At the 120 grit part, ill use a torch before wiping the dust. This melts that plastic dust into the layers. Then i hit it with the 220 and up. It helps reduce the intitial sanding with 120 grit, but i also use a cheap printer that doesnt have the best quality so the layers are much more noticeable
What resin printer did you print this with? I'm looking into getting a resin printer to go with my bambu lab, also to print one of these, but I know most resin printers dont allow that large or length of printing. So if you joined the blade together in pieces, I'd love to know how. Thanks!!
Nice! Thanks.
What glue do you use to glue each parts together
very cool
Wow! That is such a cool prop. Fantastic idea with the electronics added to it!
Thanks man, I appreciate it!! :)
Hi can you please dm me your base printer settings for all the filaments used in this video. Would love to create some base profiles on Creality Print that I can tinker per project basis!!! Great video love it
This was how I learned to make my Daft Punk helmet look stunning
Would you recommend using a sander to save time?
On a helmet, a sander probably won't be much of use due to the curves it has. You could easily sand 1 area lower then the other as well. Now if your doing a prop of a large sword or shield that has a large flat surface, then I would highly recommend a sander as long as you can adjust the speed of it, go to fast and you will start melting the plastic rather then sanding it because of the friction
Looks sweet my man. I’ve been printing a ton of their models and this was one of my favs as well. Haven’t gotten to paint them yet but I picked up a few tips from your videos. I have the same feeling as having my childhood right in front of me. It’s amazing what we can do today with printing. Look forward to watching more of your videos.
the index blade was actually cut off intentionally for a scene that was scrapped with John Saxon finding the finger which was from the build scene, you also have to tuck the leather up under the armature when wearing it, you'll get much better mobility
I got very luck and picked up the base model on FB. I now have to buy the exstention for the 5kg spools I have. 🥰
i wanna say just use a resin printer
A helmet that size to be wearable would not fit in the average resin printer. And many of those helmets are not separated into parts ready for those resin printers. Then factor in the cost of resin compared to the filament cost.
Hey 3D printed props you should make a life size chucky doll in your next video
Is it possible to apply a layer of clear resin over the clear coat to protect the paint?
What are your thoughts instead of using Bondo you use plastic wood and acetone mix and apply with a paint brush?
Do I do the wet sand after the filler primer dries or straight away after applying?
How thick should the walls be? When ever i see people print i always think to myself that the actual walls look kinda thin
Not sure of him or many other people, but I tend to have walls for the main part of the helmet at 4, and any additional features that attach to it such as horns set at 2. Infill on both at 15%.
Muito bom o vídeo, quantas camadas deixo antes e depois do preenchimento na hora da impressão? Qual o ideal para não correr risco de chegar ao preenchimento interno quando estiver lixando?
I'm doing a large print. I was wondering, some gaps and wall putty is not thick enough. It's like once I sand it down O can still see the gaps. Anything thicker I can use?
Nice, thanks for sharing.
I would have been mortified, so it's good you got a giggle out of it lol
is there a way to make bigger eyes? I have a set of the ones from your video but they are not long enough to cover the eye slots of my Space Marine helmet
cool AF
amazing work you did ^^, i was wondering which sand layer you used after the primer filler :) I'm using red spray paint instead of manual so was wondering about the thicker grooves on top
was honestly surprised when you weathered the visor! looks great, gonna do this for my httyd-themed mando helmet
i would actually, unironically, buy this. I gotta buy a 3D printer...
Ty, so much. I have been searching for painters who are not manly using an airbrush, and traditional acylic mini paints.
Anyone ever have an issue with transparent filament clogging? Is there a brand that I should be using over others that’s better? My white pla works perfect
Dude. Did you get. Hard-on for crying out loud?
Top Notch Tutorial
You seem way too enthusiastic about this, TBH.
What can I say, I'm passionate about my work. 😜
@@3DPrintedProps Heh!
love the look of this and it gives me great tips for when i begin my mando helmet and armor painting and weathering! doesn't the weathering of the visor make the vision through it blurry at all? i feel that would drive me crazy! lol
Lol, thanks for sharing. I hope you didn't sand too hard.
I've never watched the boys..... but dangit, your thumbnail made me stop and question the video. This was a fun ride (no pun intended...) but Im afraid I'm going to have to remove this from my watch history because I dont want to dick up (intended) my algorithm. If you ever get broken into, the bugler may think otherwise if you come at him (unintended..) dual wielding some of these 😂. I'm glad you had fun with it and have some cool stories now.
Can you breathe in that?
That is AWESOME!!
How much are these
If I remember correctly it.was 350
Thanks was thinking of buying one from him but didn’t know how much they were 😅
The details are really great, can't wait to see the next resin project 😀
Thank you very much!
The result is amazing, I love it 😍
Thanks! I appreciate it 😀
Why I can't buy these products at Hungary?
Not sure. Some places just don't sell certain things. There are some paints I'd like but u can only get them in the UK
@@3DPrintedProps Found one what is similar in OBI, called "insulating primer". Btw your Video was really useful for me to make a 3d printed helmet, thank you .
9:27 you are putting the lid on wrong, you really have to force each corner down lo lock over the 4 bolt heads, it's tight once you get it on.
Had you made a Star Wars Gonk droid? That too could be used to charge up things like it's purpose in the movies.
That does look fun. I'm working on a mouse Droid right now though.
Nice job. I thought at first that doesn't look like a Fusion Core, but I realised I was thinking of the Fusion Cell. What program do you use to draw it in?
Thanks! Fusion 360
omg that turned out amazing. I've been slightly obsessed with fallout 76 lately.
Thanks man! It was really fun.
The master is back!
Thanks! Yeah, I've been super busy, happy to be in the shop again. :)
