  Yeah it would be awesome if Colchester council let the bottom half of the high street be packed out with funfair rides....I wish they would do a one day close off the high street and have it as a massive charter fair like other places do

  Yeah it's a good event,less in the way of a funfair this year in comparison to previous years tho. Shame it's every other year as gotta wait till 2026 for the next one lol

  Yeah the brightlingsea carnival is always good even though it's only a small town they really do put in alot of effort to make a very good event every year

  Yeah the castle park bandstand in Colchester actually has various bands playing most Sundays during the summer time months

  Yeah there's not many events we attend that don't have at least one bouncy castle...shame no rides at the event as there's usually a few.

  Four of the rides are owned by one family but by different children. 6 of the kids rides are owned by another family. @06.24 on that ride the eliminator I'm just to the right out of sight helping on the ride.

  Yeah I knew that the teacups,bungee trampoline,circuit 2000,toy town Carousel, air o planes,mini bumper cars all travel together as children's world funpark as I've visited the funpark a few times this year. Plus the big wheel,helter skelter,train ride and one of the hook a duck stalls I've also visited in Maldon as they were all apart of downs traditional steam fair. All the other rides were new to me and hopefully will get to see them again in the east Anglia area as some really nice machines and amazing atmosphere. I shall definitely be back next year to this fair as it was a really nice day with some amazing rides.

  That women repeating The Andy Royce Catchphrase got me and my Dad's nerves 😅😅 She should have came out with a giant leak vegtable prop as that is what Andy had when he would do this routines

  I was there yesterday!!! I'm not sure if I'm exactly in the background but I'm the one in the red top if there is one. It was a brilliant procession and loved every single moment but little did me and my dad know is that we were going to watch it in the high street little did we know we were about an hour early so we were walking around the town like fools 😂😂 We saw a young lady performing a setlist of songs on the stage at the back of the green and she was absolutely fantastic!! I hope we see her get a career out of it. Also the women repeatedly quoting the Max Royce catchphrase was getting on me and my Dad's nerves I was surprised she had a leak with her as Max Royce famously had a giant leak veggie as a prop for this skits. I loved the whole session and I can't wait for another one next year

  Yeah is a really good event. It was my first time attending and I'll definitely be going again next year. I've also filmed the funfair too but that video won't be on my channel for a few days as it still needs to be finished yet.

  As a fella colcherian I think there needs to be a street fair like Oxford or KLM take over the high street Queen Street headstreet loop around the town centre then maybe a few in culver square and the old bus station. I would love to ride a booster and get an Ariel view of Colchester.

  Yeah having a proper street fair would be awesome as the rides at Christmas on high street is unique but there needs to be way more of them.

  @@theadventuresofshaunperkins 💯 imagine a starflyer in culver square and the views for days you would get from that. Or a banging walzter by the art centre. I have had this discussion with people before and they have turned round and said that it will never work as Colchester is too hilly.

  It runs on sessions for the wristbands form midday to 3:30 then second session is 3:30 till 7pm
