The Keynote Vocal Group is an all-male acapella singing ensemble of Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in San Jose, CA. The group comprises of active members of the CGS congregation and occasional guests who visit and sing in the church for special services and events. Although some of the men have been singing together in different groups even before the male ensemble was formed, the Keynote Vocal Group was officially established in early 2011 as an official choir under the Worship and Music Ministry of CGS, and has regularly sung in the church's services, regional and community events, and has started recording a CD.
It is the group's mission and ministry to promote strength, love and unity through music, especially within the LGBT community. We continuously strive to better our sound and musicality to inspire and uplift the spirits of the people we reach with our music.

I've sung this version, many times with the Appleton MacDowell Male Chorus, and it moves in my heart every time. I would love this to be sung at my funeral, for it describes all that God has held for my soul for now and eternity.

As a member of Mousehole choir, we are currently learning this piece. When the boys like a piece, they pick it up quick, and sing it well. Watch this space, it is a fantastic moving piece of music.

The piano player needs to work on their tempo.

CJCappella At the beginning and in the first 2 verses the song was at 66bpm. By the time modulation occurred near the end of the piece the tempo was at 75bpm.
