  Minnie is available for adoption at The Humane Society of Greater Dayton, in Dayton Ohio. We do accept out of state adoptions, we've even had people from Canada adopt from us! You would have to make the trip to Ohio though.

  I went to my local spca and they had over 200 dogs. They wanted $375 to adopt one. Thats ridiculous. I asked why shouldnt i jist go buy a puppy for $100-$200 and they said I get a variety or choices there. Will never adopt from them. They have 200+ dogs for a reason and that high fee is definitely part of it.

  At the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, our dog adoption fees do range from $100 - $375 depending on the dog. These fees cover a number of items to help support the care of each animal, including (but not limited to) their medical care, food, shelter, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, preventative testing, vaccinations and more.

  They do have cataract surgery for animals today! I do believe it’s very expensive though, but you might want to look into that! My dog has cataracts but she is older,; so I am apprehensive about the anesthesia on her heart! Keep checking and see what your options could be for your little beautiful kitty!❤❤❤ I am praying for your kitty and my little dog!

  Our program is set up so that HSGD volunteers can take dogs out for free, but the general public does have to pay a $20 fee to take a dog out of the shelter for the day. The good news is that if you are planning on adopting the dog you took out, that $20 will be put towards the adoption fees.   This will be interesting. I have a long hair chihuahua that has refused to go outside after dark ever since a bat flew into the house when I was letting my puppy back in from going potty.   Stay inside your house & keep your pets indoors also. There has NEVER been anything good to come out of a total Solar Eclipse. It's a bad omen. I'm not even going down that religious hole either! Consider yourself warned.
