  I didn't understand the grounding wire instructions, it sounded as if there is a green as well as a copper but not illustration on that part. Do you add the greens and copper together? I am watching prior to buying a new fan to see if I should attempt this myself. there is already a fan in place that has a dislodged chain that I cannot seem to access to turn off the fan.

  Teresa Garrett have you replaced the roof / sidewall flashing? Roof is only 5yrs old, should not be leaking. Should we be able to loosen the shingles enough to replace flashing without damaging shingles? Any tips.. Thanks

  The hinge is just part of the issue. The door frame and the post are the main issue. Square the door frame, study and plumb the posts will do it.

  I would like to do that to my attic but my attic isn't as big. How much weight can that floor board hold and what is the name of it. My joists are about 24 inches apart. Thank you for the making the video. The attic looks great.
